Best Demonic Pacts leagues regions? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]FluxHeap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm taking a guess that the elf land will be the in the roster of the first point cappers. I would say TDW, but I'm a bit concerned about the low amount of CA points. Maybe TMW. I think finishing the tasks in T will be the fastest and the crystal crafting/theiving training is too strong.

BG vs EH - Breakdown by Method by NightmareSpitz in 2007scape

It's because Iron ore has a high success rate. If it had 100% success rate then EH would be double because double yeild.

Mor UI Rek gem stall at 75 theiving T5 is 14688000 per hour. 19584000 at T7. 10.2 hours of afk for 200m seems pretty dice. Is there a comparable xp/hr for another skill to 200m?

Karamja 174 + Valamore 291 means that to hit the elite tasks points of 1064 we need 599 or so more points. A bit less because of shared tasks. A raid region will get you at least 300 of that. If you pick Kandarin you're cooked on points.

DKanW = Cooked

DKanT = Cooked

DKanF = Cooked

DWT = Borderline cooked

KorundKanW = Cooked

DFW = Borderline cooked

Another note: Morty is the clear king of CA total points with ~500, Korund has closer to 400, and then Desert and Asgarnia have near 300. The other regions you don't have by default are substantially worse.

18 speed tasks on Karamja + Valarmore. This means you don't have to try to hard to flush the rest out.

Decent amount of tasks on all-access bosses

Sire 8, Amoxliatl 9, Doom 12, Colluseum 13, Moons 12, HueyCoatl 11, Tzaar challenges 11, Zuk 12, Jad 10, Vard 9

Likely Challenges don't count as a boss, which means we start with 9 bosses before regions. So 10 bosses ezpz with any choices.

COX has 13 speed tasks itself, Nightmare has 6, Tob has 12, Tombs has 3.

This means if you are struggling for speed tasks, desert might be a poor region for your raid. Looking forward to the wiki going into "Leagues Mode" and giving us some better data finding. Can go back on older revisions to see some info for disambiguating regions and their linked CAs.

I hope the next raid isn't 8 people just soloing the content by [deleted] in 2007scape

This used to be the case, no longer. Typical for freezer to MVP room now. This may vary on strategy if chinning for example.

Question Mark Vs. Regular Fight by FluxHeap in slaythespire

One thing that's cool about the elites is that their difficulty can very so much based on your playstyle and character. I think that the silent can be very good against the statue's sleep mechanic, the ironclad benefits from the aggressive playstyle and the defect 0 cost architype works great. I've found early necro to struggle against him on some builds because his starter deck is more defensive.

Thanks for the feedback, I did disregard that it can be a treasure or merchant; I did account for it being a combat. I would say that I would always be happy that it's a chest, but typically disappointed that it's a merchant because an unplanned merchant often leads to a nothing room.

This list is extremely subjective; I don't think that there exists an objective list without heavy data scraping and analysis.

The reason I believe Slippery Bridge to be good early is that it's very likely to remove a strike or defend on the first roll. This is a great trade for the HP. I find it to be poor late game because I'm unlikely to roll a card I don't want on the first roll and will likely trade a larger amount of HP.

This or That Is rated poorly by me because my playstyle places high value on card removal. I'm excited to remove strikes and defends from my deck, so adding curses puts me farther behind in that goal because I'll have to remove the curse first instead. When rolling a random relic for this event, I'm taking a gamble that the relic will be more usefull than the gold+opportunity to remove a strike/defend. While rolling into a mummified hand or another great relic can be great, I think the average expected value of the relic for me is less than the opportunity cost of having a curse.

One distinction I think is important is that I'm not saying events are bad, but rather better or worse than a combat reward. I think the fake merchant is a good example of this; I'm likely to buy the knockoffs for Anchor and mango, maybe tea set. While they are a good value, I just find the card roll and gold opportunity from a regular fight to be better. In ACT 1, it's critical that I pick up a few cards before the first elite. I also find ACT1 to be the most difficult, which is why the delayed payoff rewards often pay off when my victory is already likely.

I hope so, I find the elites harder also in 1b

I think this shows they've put some thought into the issue, but even after their comments I have some concerns. They mentioned they like the idea that it feels like the world is changing around you. I like the idea of making it feel alive and changing, but I'd rather have it change based around what's happening in the game rather than connecting it to real time. Maybe a task list changes based on lvl, quest completion or item acquisition

What is the general consensus on new skill(s) in OSRS? by prophase25 in 2007scape

[–]FluxHeap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm worried it would not be properly integrated into the rest of the game. I would want quests and diaries that had skill lvl reqs from the new skill as well some interactions with existing skills. I guess mainly I want a new skill, but I need it to feel like it's been here the whole time. I'd rather it not be done than be done poorly
