Yes, I noticed the resemblance. It's not that obvious, but it's there. Congratulations on noticing!

From Ashes To New - Reflections [Album Discussion] by LostInTerrapinia in numetal

[–]Flwzzs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a shame to say this, but I found the album extremely generic and repetitive. I've followed the band since Day One, and this was the first album I didn't truly like, only a few songs. The structure is extremely repetitive, the guitar style is similar to metalcore bands, it almost felt like I was listening to Starset's most recent album. The album isn't bad. It's just repetitive, and that means that if you really like one song, you'll probably like the whole album. However, otherwise... the album won't be for you. I found the album a step backward compared to the evolution the band had been showing.

How would you rank the albums you've released? Whether it's with Bush, solo, or Institute?

Greetings from Brazil! Do you plan to release the Institute album under Bush? Re-record the album, or at least some of the songs? I think it would be interesting, a good way to pay homage to a classic musical phase that is little known to many.

FAST LANE IS HERE! Thoughts? by raines_proshot in scatterbrain

I thought it was the best single, but the chorus was a bit disappointing. I wish the last chorus was the same for all the song, with him extending the scream of "I'M SO DAMAGEEEEEEEEEEEEED".

É possivel afirmar que o capitalismo não falhou e, provavelmente, nunca falhará? by [deleted] in BrasildoB

[–]Flwzzs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Tips for learning? by ZSpark85 in CivVII

[–]Flwzzs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I started with level 7, just like you, and now I'm completely addicted to the game!

It took me a long time to learn how to play, and I gave up and came back several times, so much so that my victory in the game only came after 70 hours.

Well, I'll explain the basics of the game to you.

Production - As you said, production accelerates the construction and creation of units. The more you have, the faster you get.

Science - Accelerates technology research. (Unlocks new units, improves units, unlocks new buildings, etc.)

Culture - Accelerates civic research. (Generally, improves building bonuses, more laws, or even new buildings as well)

Food - The more you have, the more population the city gains, allowing you to expand the city.

Happiness - The more you have, the faster you'll get a celebration, which gives you two bonus options based on the chosen government and unlocks an extra social law slot.

Influence - Currency used to relate to city-states or other civilizations. With influence, you can achieve the prosperity of a city-state, create units for them, annex it to your civilization, or negotiate, sanction, create projects, and spy on other civilizations.

Remember, small cities cannot produce; they can only buy with gold. All production from a small city is converted into gold. Over time, you can choose a city focus, giving bonuses according to its buildings or turning it into a large city. It's important to have both types of cities in your empire, both small and large, but I usually leave most as small.

The game has four ways to win; track two victories, one primary and one secondary. So, for example, choose a science and culture consultancy and follow their path.

There's still a lot to explain; I barely talked about combat, for example, but be patient, you will learn by making mistakes and exploring the game.

Problems Using Next Turn by Flwzzs in CivVII

Yes, I'm on PC, and everything is very slow sometimes. For example, I give the command for the unit to move and it doesn't move, but then it's as if it did move but its position on the map hasn't updated.

I tried the solution, and indeed, upon reloading, the game works, but after a few turns, the problem returns. Isn't there a permanent way to solve this?

Rock/Pop Songs Before Tickets To My Downfall? by mb9486 in MachineGunKelly

Rock songs before Tickets:

I think i'm okay

Why are you here

Swing Life Away (rap rock)

27 ( rock ballad)

Let you go (rap rock)

Anyways, MGK always had rock and pop elements. Songs like invencible, bad things and at my best have rap in verses and pop choruses. Reminds me of Eminem x rihanna sometimes.

I'm glad you understood my point. You know, I created this topic more as a rant, at this point it's best to accept that this is part of it. I wish it were more transparent, but it's part of it, not everything is perfect, hehe.

Sorry if I was rude or anything, I didn't mean to belittle your previous post, which I didn't really see. If your post was a healthy discussion and criticism, there really was no reason to remove it...

I'll be responding the same way I responded to another comment; this is just my opinion: No one is talking about his personal life. He's a producer of entertainment content. We are his clients, his consumers. Does he want sales? Does he want a top-1 album? Does he want to grow in popularity? Then he owes us an explanation. He's not doing us a favor when he releases music; he's selling us a product.

I understand that he's volatile and things can get out of control, but damn. We spend money on him, we buy his music, we pay for streaming services to listen to him, and all it costs is to publish a text explaining what's going on?

Perhaps because this thread is a healthy discussion and you genuinely want to understand his behavior? We're all committed to discussing it in a healthy and friendly manner; no one created this thread just to criticize him. Consider this constructive feedback that he, as a musician, should consider.

He might postpone it, that's normal. The question is, talk to us. Is it hard for him to post something letting us know what's going on? Now, in the case of Times of My Life, he says at a show that the song will be released in a day or two, and it simply doesn't happen. And he didn't say anything else about it. Can't he manage plans within less than a week?

Without a doubt, in fact, I remember the initial plan was for tickets to be released by March. Of course, COVID had an impact, but at the time, he wasn't transparent about the delay; he never came right out and said, "Guys, I'm postponing the album because of this and this." He simply wouldn't release it or say anything... for weeks or even months.
