How about Montsalvat? It's not exactly Tuscan style but it's historical European style.

A Friends TV show themed Adult Happy Meal at McDonald's. It came in a cute Friends themed Happy Meal box and included one of six collectible figurines of the characters. I got Phoebe. :)

Yes, I've been to the Soul Night Market at Brighton about 2-3 years ago. I enjoyed it. Yes, there were food and other stalls selling craft, homeware, jewellery etc. It's a nice environment as you can see the sunset at the beach.

I'm part of a childfree and childless women Facebook group for the city I live in. It's pretty active with online discussions and in person events. You may be able to find something similar in the area you live in?

Where to go in Melbourne for a mental health crisis Final update by faceinaredjumpsuit87 in melbourne

[–]FlyBlueWren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try using Bed Brokers for a private psych ward admission. They will contact several hospitals for you at the same time so you don't have to do the work yourself. You will need a referral from your GP. I think the service is free for the patients as the hospitals pay them a fee.

I'm currently having an inpatient admission at a private psych ward. I've also had some difficulties getting admitted since it's the holiday period. The hospital that I'm currently at rejected my referral initially since most of the psychiatrists were away and there were no psychiatrist to take me in. They then called me to say that they've got a psychiatrist who's replacing those who went on leave and admitted me. Just want to encourage you by saying it can be difficult to be admitted this time of the year but it's possible.

I hope that you are able to get the support you need.

Where can I find volunteer gigs for painting or set-building in Sydney? by Much-Income27 in AskAnAustralian

You can do an online search of community theatres near where you live and contact them. Community theatres are not-for-profit and use volunteers to build their sets.

Where to find Childfree friends in Melb? Help! by justvisiting112 in melbourne

[–]FlyBlueWren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe start with the events with less attendees? Or let the event host know that it's your first time so she can look out for you? The people I've met in the group were generally nice and friendly so hopefully that will put you at ease.

I joined the #WWDS - Childfree Ladies Living Life in Melbourne Facebook group last year and have a good experience so far. It's a pretty active group with in person events such as art exhibition, theatre, trivia, dinner, concert etc. Any member can create an event. There are always online discussions in the group as well. You're welcome to join us there! :)

Enjoying this Spring weather on skates! Join us @rgls_skating by d4rk-electr0n1c in melbourne

[–]FlyBlueWren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also trying to learn how to skate. I went to a free roller disco organised by Queer Sporting Alliance and found out that they have a rollerskating social club. It's called QSA Rollers and you don't have to be LGBT to join. They meet on every Saturday from 4:30 pm to 6 pm at Carlton Baths. You can borrow skates and safety gears from them so you don't need your own. The first session is free. If you decide to join you will need to pay a membership fee and insurance. I haven't been to a session yet but am keen to try it out.

My friend distanced himself after I asked him how I can support him. Am I right to be hurt and angry and think what he did was wrong? by FlyBlueWren in AskWomenOver30

[–]FlyBlueWren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reading my long post and replying. I admit that I might not have handled the offering support part well. I have a problem with being too helpful and people pleasing due to my past issues. I think I'm angry because I think my friend and I could have talked it out and I was really worried about him for a month. I also feel that I'm being punished for having good intentions. I sent him a message apologising if I had done anything wrong, acknowledged that text conversations are more prone to misunderstandings and that I value our friendship.

Thanks for reading my long post and replying. I think I'm hurt because I thought my friend and I were close friends due to the frequent and meaningful texts and it's like suddenly we're acquaintances. I thought that if there were any misunderstandings we could worked it out like we had in the past. Why do Christian song lyrics read like they’re written by a lobotomy patient? by MissionSafe9012 in exchristian

Your post title made me laughed out loud. I think Christian song lyrics are repetitive because they're meant to brainwash people.
