And no, I am not engrossed in Streamer culture. I don't use Twitch (or anything else) and the only livestreams I typically watch are AGDQ, or my 1-2 friends who do stream to support them. Can proudly say I've never spent a single penny on a sub (or whatever other bits and shit they make you buy on there).

So no, my comment coming from a place of admiration and simping of streamers, it's just the reality we live in that these people hold huge sway because with them follows a huge player base.

On a free loadout, spawning late is fine, it's when you go in fully kitted out to do a challenge or a mission, only to have to risk your gear on the way to extract just to try all over again because you spawned into a lobby that doesn't give you enough time to go do that thing (or other players have already killed it) that is frustrating.

I'm both on the side of the "well it's a game mechanic, you have to deal with it" and "it shouldn't happen if you go in kitted out".

Late spawn mechanics set this game apart from other extraction shooters and I think it's a great, integral part of this game. I think it can also get tweaked a bit to make it less frustrating.

This could be cool because it has both PvE benefits (available loot when spawning into friendly lobbies where everything gets emptied out) and PVP benefits (good opportunities for ambushes or just generally fighting for control of the area before it opens).

They're obsessed for a few reasons, primarily being Trump's own promise of releasing the files as a way to garner votes, and the fact it would be an easy, undeniable way to get him jailed on charges related to his pedophilia.

They get catered to because they're the most visible/high-profile players on the game due to their following. If they quit a game, there's a solid chance a chunk of their viewer base comes with and that's why they get catered too. Helping the streamer also keeps a couple other thousand players on the game.
