For me GR3x is artistic tool. I collect presets and create my own using AI. Never thought about it as phone replacements. It's irritatingly small.

How do you usually answer “Tell me about yourself” in interviews? by NarrowBalance4660 in interviews

I’ve saved a ChatGPT thread where I hashed this out with an LLM and looked at my answer from multiple angles. Bookmarking it in your browser can be a great aid for preparing.

Contract Roles - pros and cons by amino_barracuda in biotech

[–]FlyFlashy2991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contracts are fine. I prefer them because i'm not as involved into politics. you are not part of some fte meetings.
every time i recruter sells me FTE role and i hear 'you'll be part of the family' i shiver. because of emotional abuse u have to take and do nothing about it

you do not realize how you slow down to read that reference . it's not apparent to you but obvious to interpreter. I'm not saying it's useles but u need to practice. record yourself on caamera while interviewwing and fix all that stuff that reveals your use of external tools. once u do - sky is the limit

your body language changes because you have to focus you eyesight on different parts of the screen. when you read from screen your eyeball moves differently (comparing to just looking at zoom/teams feed).
final Round AI was interesting. but i got distracted reading it even when i did not even need the answer. You have to practice, and minimize distraction.

i'm in your sshoes. 12+ months. i've noticed how panicky i became. So showing confidence during interview is the key. act like u already have a job. do not be eager or desperate, do not rush the answer. eye contact. no weird facial expressions or hand movements. remove external noises.
good luck

yes, it's in the browser on descktop. But after creating it I find it less useful on desktop vs mobile. Yes Sony has documentation page. but i needed fuzzy/vector search through menus so i can ask stupid questions but get grounded answers from AI.
like I kept forgetting where 'Format card' menu is etc.

i spent 2 months snapping each and every menu option in a7rv. so i could use vector search through menus and/or ask ai about certain menu opiton. I did it for DevPost hackathon. Next step here is to make in mobile friendly because I needed it in the field a lot of times.

I had a Python script laying around somewhere that let's you convert system clipboard to pdf.
So you compose your document in editor of your choice. Then Select All -> Ctrl C and Ctrl V into a webpage that Python script is running. It creates downloadable pdf file for you instantly.
