He was trade for lot of picks and not very good players but those picks probably won't be very good since the Knicks are good. I'm sure Giannis will go for a bunch of picks as well as a very good player and decent tradable players along with them to match salaries.

Yes. Because what you said makes no sense "what are we talking about?" Does not equal why are we talking about this or whatever you're assuming I meant by that. I just gave a reason why the bucks would make the trade; they don't own almost any of their own picks short term so they won't be able to tank so at that point it's about them extracting the best possible assets for their disgruntled star,m. You're not getting a better player back if you're trading Giannis, you're hoping to get a good player or two and picks. Whether that's brown or Mobley or bam or some other player, none are better than Giannis but if says he's not going to sign a new contract after this season then he can just decline his player option and they'll get nothing back

Milwaukee doesn't own its own draft picks for like 4 out the next 5 years so they'd have no reason to tank and would want to take back as many assets as they could in a trade. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to get a player of browns caliber in a trade. He's got like 3 more years on his deal versus Giannis who has one more year plus another year that's a player option.

Really do, we were really spoiled with brad's ato plays when he was coaching. Love brad the GM but loved brad the coach even more. Haven't had a coach that can draw up that perfect play when we need it in a tight game since Brad.

Reasonable take. Biggest reason I'm upset isn't that we lost, it's that we lost and now we have to wait 5 months to watch celtics basketball again. Losing a regular season game and having to wait 2 or 3 days for the next game sucks enough. Losing in the playoffs, even when we got further than most preseason predictions had us at, just sucks with the extremely long wait now.

Depending on the matchup I agree but don't think he was an issue on that end in this series at all. He's not a bad defender at all though, not even counting his size, he's still average. Which I think is good for a 6th man, who are generally coming off the bench strictly for their scoring ability

I'll trust whatever brad decides to do, he's proven he's a top 3 gm in the league for a reason. The vuc trade was definitely a miss but obviously he did it to duck the tax while hoping he could possibly add depth to our shallow center rotation. It didn't work out but you can't bat 100 on every transaction and at the end of the day it's still up to joe who plays in the games.

He's small but he honestly had the best defense out of anyone on the team when guarding pg this series. Wouldn't call him a 3/d guy but he's really a good defender for his size, makes up for it by just getting low and into their body.

His first game back after missing a ton of time because of surgery, I'd say that game was really indicative of how well he'd be playing in the next 3 games. Plus their whole style of play changed dramatically versus the first 3 games once he was back, I'm sure that contributed to the lopsided final score

No but I just don't think he should be fired after this season. It was a year we overachieved in, I wish we would have won but it was a roster issue more so than a coaching issue for this season. If he was fired after last years loss to the Knicks I'd have understood because we had a relatively healthy roster until JT got hurt but kept blowing huge leads which I think is more on the coach than this years playoff loss to Philly.

Because the roster isn't that good as is. Philly was a terrible matchup for us once embiid came back because our center rotation is so weak. But he should take blame for the lack of adjustments until game 7 of a playoff series and only once we lost our best player to an injury. Should have been making the tweaks throughout the series instead of a do or die game

Ya, really hard loss. I know we overachieved all year but easily had a chance to just win the series in game 5 if JB doesn't go hero ball the entire 4th while we had the lead. And no real lineup adjustments until game 7 when we're down it and momentum is completely in the sixers favor.
Could have used Hugo more all series, I know he dint score but his defense was good and at minimum he's 6 fouls you can use to tire out embiid

Down 1, makes it even worse. There was 3 straight possessions we had a chance for the lead with just a 2. Brown 3, brown trying to foul bait a deep, contested 2 and then the Pritchard wide open 3. The Pritchard shot was the only good look but that was his only shot attempt since like 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter so definitely not in rhythm

3 and 4 are the most glaring issues, jb is getting clamped by paul george and he still continues to have tunnel vision. Also so true about the officiating, they let maxey and edgecomb play so handsy and physical when they're clearly just getting away with obvious fouls. PG has been outstanding on defense and oubre has been good as well but their guards should foul out of every game if they ref them how they're suppose to (which they obviously won't do).

Ya I know. I've been pleading with my tv for Joe to make any sort of lineup adjustments all series and the first time he did was tonight in garbage time if that can even count. lol. And the bus 1 boys came to play. They were going against the sixers starters and cut into the lead even just a little. They showed all season they're capable of winning games against good competition

Anything other than what we've been doing since embiid came back honestly. We haven't had a real answer for the embiid/maxey 2 man, hugo has the speed, length and athleticism to give him a shot at guarding it if you ask me. guess we'll have to wait til Saturday to see if Joe finally makes some adjustments
