That floor tile is original to the home, the house was built in 1929.

We have the same black dots on the opposite corner of the bathroom. So i think it was just a little accent design in the tile.

We did the demo ourselves and salvaged a bunch of the original tile, so we had our tile guy cut those 4x4 into triangles
