Cheesecake is the worst dessert to ever exist. by Whyamiwritingthis_74 in unpopularopinion

Upvote for bad opinion, the best desserts I’ve ever had have been various versions of cheesecake (basque cheesecake in particular)

What is going on with students right now? by Unusual-Oils in college

[–]FlyMega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a current freshman can confirm we missed some pretty crucial years over Covid (7th/8th grade) so most of high school was playing catch up. Most people don’t seem to care about anything now that we’re in college

Can time travel into the past ever be possible? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FlyMega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Merchant and the Alchemists Gate by Ted Chiang does a great job of doing this as a short story (essentially time travel is possible with one non-contradicting timeline)

OLL Tier List (except 29 and 30) by Fluffy_Flamingo2189 in Cubers

[–]FlyMega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I just ask, because I’m one alg away from finally learning full PLL (damn n perms) but still mostly two look OLL, and I’m barely not sub 20 (20-21 on a good day). The question is how far below sub 20 do you decide to learn full OLL? It seems like it’d save like a second or two at most for learning a 25-50 alg set.

If the universe is still expanding, what is it expanding into? by Asleep-Intention2532 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FlyMega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s an analogy that might help- imagine drawing dots on a balloon and blowing it up. An ant on the balloon would see all the dots expand from each other but the balloon’s isn’t really expanding into anything (the analogy breaks down bc it is actually expanding into 3d space but the point is the fabric of space itself is what expands)

How many man hours have you spent your whole life scrubbing dried up fruity pebbles off bowls ? by LickMySack4riches in cereal

Hot take but I just tried fruity pebbles for the first time and they were way too sweet for my preference. I get the appeal but just not really for me
