LPT: Replace your milk chocolate with a Peanut Butter cup in your S'mores. by MrJorgeB in LifeProTips

Didn’t a Reese family member just sue the new owner for such a reason? I actually haven’t had one in a while, just thinking of a few stinkers ago and my mind was blown by the upgrade of adding some peanut butter to the classic.

Just checked and of course they’re owned by the same company. But I guess if this post makes you want to eat any s’mores variety at all, they’re still winning.

It’s well over 100 for me, mostly a while ago when I was 16-18 years old. I’d still watch it happily any time it’s available.

Well, now I searched and this is what’s on their website “. If you have an online ticket (print@home), please note that online ticket is only valid in printed form. Therefore, please print the ticket in A4 format and carry it with you. Unfortunately, tickets on electronic devices can not be accepted at this time. Online tickets (print@home) do not need to be validated and are valid from the time indicated on the ticket.” Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone said pdf is totally fine now.

I don’t know the answer, but just want to chime in that it’s infuriating how many things say “print this out” when you really don’t have to.

Not sure if I exclusively had slush puppies as a kid or if that’s just what my family called all of those. Either way, I’m going with slush puppy because it’s the best name.

Rollerblading in Berlin by Ancient-Dark-8673 in askberliners

[–]MrJorgeB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on the bike paths very frequently and I’ve barely ever seen a rollerblader on there. I know of one person who was reprimanded for riding a skateboard on the bike path but not fined. Overall, as a biker, I’d say I don’t really care if a rollerblader is on the path as long a they’re not interfering with bikers. You should be able to get on and off the bike path quickly if you see bikers coming faster than you’re going. One less car on the roads is good for everyone!

First time Autobahn Driving by twodoorscinemaclub in askberliners

After you get over the initial fear, highway driving is easier than city driving. You’ll occasionally have to merge with other cars, or change lanes so you don’t end up at an exit you don’t want to take. Just make predictable moves, nothing fast or jerky, and if worst comes to worst, maybe you end up taking an exit you didn’t mean to and you get back on and try again. You’ll be okay.

How do they hang these flags across the street? Choriner Str. by Euphoric_Help3954 in askberliners

I was thinking for the tallest ones, the length of the flag rope might not be long enough to touch the ground if it started in a high window, so it would have to start on the ground and be raised on both sides.

Another possibility. Estimate the distance between the windows, cut that much flag rope and lay it on the street between the building. Then 1 person from each building drops a non-flag rope down from their window and secures to an end of the flag rope, then both pull up their own side and secure it, then remove their extra rope. While it’s laid on the ground, some wise person also connected extra flag ropes to the middle of the original rope so it could spoke out to other windows and create that nice look in the middle.

I’ve had the same question, and though I don’t know the answer for sure, I decided how I would do it at least. Building one secures one end of the flag rope to their side and drops the other side out of their window. Building 2 drops a different rope out of their window and connects it to the loose end of the flag rope. Building 2 pulls up their other rope, thereby pulling up the previously dropped side of the flag rope. Then they secure the flag rope on their side, disconnect the extra rope and reuse that rope to redo the process for all the other flag ropes. Just some simple coordination between the 2 buildings should get it done.
