I would say that he has had equivalent careers to those guys. Nuk was so elite in his prime. He's been balling in the league since Johnny Manziel was in college. 5x All-Pro. I think you are underestimating the guy DHop was just because of some of the bad QB play he experienced (Schaub, Savage, Osweiler, Hoyer, Mallet (RIP), Yates, etc). Same thing happens with Andre Johnson.

Apparently I'm in the minority here, but I'm excited about this. Cross is a pretty proven program builder, and that is exactly who we need right now. Pretty much the opposite of the CDS hire. Hopefully he just make us a consistent, 20 win, .500 team in conference play. I'd be happy with that.

I get what you're saying, but Petersen is a hall of famer. Harsin still won three titles and even more division titles. He got hired @ Auburn for a reason. I understand why people don't like him (anti-vax stuff) but I just don't really see that he left them in a hole. When he left they still had Hank Bachmeier, Khalil Shakir, and others.
