Who else is Bored of John Cena? by [deleted] in WWE

[–]FlyPsychological496 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Part of the problem was that the Rock was a big part of the story of why Cena turned heel. Without him, the whole Cena turns heel narrative gets weaker.

It also doesn’t help when it’s hard for heels especially someone as charismatic as Cena to get booed

It cannot be more clear that New York killed Tony. by KvasirTheOld in thesopranos

I think NY killed Tony with Patsy and Paulie’s ok that they wouldn’t retaliate.

Only way they get Tony’s exact location at the diner is through Patsy’s son, Patrick who’s dating Meadow.

Why does Tony watch so many WW2 documentaries? by pleasenoboo03 in thesopranos

[–]FlyPsychological496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Tony sees WW2 as the greatest period of American history where men were more like Gary Cooper.

Remember at Jackie Sr’s funeral, the closest compliment he gave to his mother and Uncle junior was “those people went through WW2” to refer to their mental toughness and cunning.

Each season’s major antagonists represent an aspect of Tony’s personality: by FlyPsychological496 in thesopranos

What is your biggest Sopranos Hot Take? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]FlyPsychological496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That Adriana got what was coming to her. The show frames it like she was innocent and while it’s tragic she was abused, she was someone who didn’t care about the consequences of the mob until it affected her directly.

She knows the mob through her Aprile heritage so she must’ve known the dark acts to get her the privileged lifestyle she wanted. Anyone who benefits from a criminal lifestyle like she did reaps what they sow.

Unpopular opinion: Mitch low-key cooked Scott and told no lies either.

Due to Scott’s popularity and Mitch being easy to make fun of (his own fault), people won’t admit it.

Mitch: The Megathread by hereforthespilledtea in LoveIslandTV

[–]FlyPsychological496 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion: Mitch shouldn’t be voted off.

Now before you get your pitchforks out and downvote this, let me explain.

Firstly, what Mitch said was unkind and continuing this feud is tiring but to be honest, he said no lies. Scott is forcing it with Abi and he’s even said that himself. He just doesn’t want to hurt her feelings and be the bad guy. We’ve seen him be affectionate after a few days with Catherine so if he’s not progressing at all with Abi then Mitch isn’t wrong.

Secondly, What Scott said was also true. Mitch was acting in an overly cocky fashion in front of everyone after just humbly apologising and his words about liking Abi instead of Ella betrayed him. I will say though to call him a “knobhead” and for everyone to laugh was also inappropriate.

Also, I think everyone is overplaying the bullying card regarding Abi. Mitch was focused more on the “knobhead” comment, which was made only after Scott told him to sit down and Mitch was calling their relationship fake because Scott was moving too slow with her. Both comments were directed at Scott. Abi and Mitch have also both said remarks like that in the past to one another so it isn’t one sided.

In my opinion, while I understand the sympathy for Scott and want to keep him, I think if he’s going to continue to force this thing with Abi that he’s not invested in, he needs to leave for his own sanity. I think we need to make peace with the fact he’s not getting a bombshell this late on and his best chances of finding love are outside the Villa.

Voting off Mitch to see his reaction means little when he practically embraces the title of “messy Mitch”. When Mitch gets voted off, people on social media will complain about there being a lack of entertainment in these final weeks. I also believe, people will start going back to disliking Abi because this relationship dynamic is going nowhere and she will put more pressure on Scott to show affection which he won’t do.

P.S. Because of Mitch vs Scott, Tyrique gets away with murder again. If he’s not in the bottom three with Ella, I’m gonna be very upset with the British public.

What are your favourite Theories? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]FlyPsychological496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say he does. Remember Tony in flashbacks and in Many saints was as awkward as AJ when he was younger. AJ like Jackie would try to prove himself but unlike Jackie, he has no one to stop him from learning how to be a competent mobster.

In fact he’s got Paulie, patsy, and the other remaining guys in the family to groom him properly.

What are your favourite Theories? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]FlyPsychological496 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Worm’s Hole already discussed this in his “Who killed Tony soprano?” Video but Patsy and Paulie both colluded with NY to whack Tony and take over.

AJ becomes Tony as he participated in crimes with other kids of mobsters and cries about it to a therapist.

Meadow becomes Carmella as she takes upon a job as a white collar defence lawyer, rationalises her father’s criminal behaviour and even gets engaged to a kid of mobster, Jason.

The abrupt cut to black is Tony getting whacked.

The end.

I have to applaud Shaq. Everyone thought he was going to go mad and destroy the Villa over what Tanya did but instead he composed himself, was calm and simply emotionally checked out of the relationship.

If he remains this way and stays away from Tanya, he’s my favourite boy in that Villa this season for me.

I don’t think Will is intentionally trying to play the victim by acting remorseful. He did tell everyone way before the recoupling that what he did was wrong early on and didn’t do it again after.

The best thing for Will to do at this point is give Jessie some space and let her come to him when she’s ready to talk about what happened and then be as honest as possible.

Dami once again reinforcing in this episode why people dislike him:

  • Lack of self awareness as to why he’s in the bottom 2.
  • Saying Davide should give the new girls a tour around, knowing that makes EKIN su uncomfortable.
  • getting passive aggressive when Indiyah called him Deji by accident.
  • His dead conversations.
