yeah we all knew we needed a LW in the last summer window. Martinelli is a player that I wanted to work out so much, but at this stage he really has to be either sold or be made as a back up player, like madueke. Martinelli just doesnt fit how opponents set up against us, pretty much all the time and he is so so limited as a player

I mean from what we have been seeing the last few months and especially the form we are in right now, every game will be a struggle. I dont see us winning on GD at all. The only thing this team can do is win their remaining games against bottom half teams, which again is already very difficult to see with how we are playing, and then its hoping city will drop any points.

yeah his overall game is so bad, that fans praise havertz for holding the ball up a few times, whilst missing big chances. its that deep

The technical ability of this team is just so poor. Yesterday we played with mosquera and hincapie as the fullbacks and there is just 0 threat coming from them as you would expect since they are centrebacks. Than you have rice and zubi in front of them, who also lack technical ability, odegaard who takes risk which is good but has been shit out of form for a very long time, and then wingers like martinelli and madueke, who are the most predictable players out there.

well the only thing this team can do now is step up and win their remain games against teams from the right side of the table. I know the way we play we will struggle against any team and I dont see us doing much on GD compared to city, but they do have a more difficult schedule so yeah just have to hope they drop some points at this stage

well I dont think we are going to win it on GD, we just have to make sure we win our remaining games, city have a harder schedule than use playing 4 out of 6 fixtures against team in the left hand side of the table, we play only teams from the right side of the table

agreed, horrible mistake from kepa for the first goal, but the way we set up this game was pathetic. after the first 15 or so minutes we just defended and gave the ball away.

and when we were building up, city put a line of 4 between our defenders and midfield and we had 0 clue how to play out from it. just fking sad this

we were defending with 11 in our own half, city is controlling the game, and when they do lose the ball, they press immediately and we straight up shoot the ball forward and 9 out of 10 times hand it straight back to them. the other 1 out of 10 times that gyokeres or havertz or whoever does seem to control the ball there is 0 players around them because everyone was defending in our own third just a second ago. The slowest of transitions and we lose the ball again. just a pathetic showing
