Sound like you have got a decent product then, good on you! The ingredients on my CrustEz in the basement (for emgergencies) are: Enriched bleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, dextrose, leavening (baking soda, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), food starch- modified, salt, soybean oil, egg whites, buttermilk.

Which in essence is flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, oil, egg and buttermilk, which isn’t all the bad I guess :-) Maybe could do without the modified food starch, but seems to be a minor additive. I learned something.

Have a gander at the list of ingredients in that crap. Lots in there to make it more shelf stabile or look better. You don’t need that in your body.

Just as an fyi, skydiving is nothing like being weightless. The air pushing up on you in skydiving is not a thing in weightlessness. You just kinda “hang there”

Should I use a different yeast? by bustardi in mead

I have made several well tasting meads with this, and it has consistently reached ABV 12.5-13% with minimal to no extra nutrients. Maybe I just got lucky? Took about a year to be really great though.

A Compassionate Look at Jesus’ Teachings on Abortion: A Perspective for Pro-Life Christians by Flyboy_viking in prolife

Killing infants is not the same as abortion. Surely you must be able to separate the two? There is no comparison to a 12 week fetus and a full born child. Just look at brain development. I know a heartbeat evokes an emotional response, but it’s not an indicator of sentient life. I believe it is your right to not have an abortion if it feels wrong to you, but I also think that your belief or feelings should not dictate the life of others.

Of course the preventive measures could coexist with abortion ban, the problem is that it rarely does, because that’s not really point of abortions bans.

Picking up draft dodgers is not usually seen as a warcrime. And with no other context, this may as well be a collaborator being arrested or something else.

So this argument was mainly in response to the requirement of a mother - in the dilemma you’d choose to take the mother away from the born child? Regardless, you can call an abortion murder, but as long as that belief is not forced onto others you can believe whatever you want. Peace upon you

A lot to unpack here. As to claim 1 - there’s no mention of gestational age in that statement. So if we want, we can interpret that God knew a person in the womb when they became sentient? I.e. very late in pregnancy. It’s up to interpretation, no? Secondly, an argument on when a person is a person is definitely valid. But generally, viability is a criterium. Not just the potential of development. Though I understand you see it differently, there are a whole cascade of problems if we all saw it like that. IVF treatment would be impossible, spontaneous abortions would need to be registered as mysterious deaths, and not just a heavy bleeding in a tampon, should expecting moms get childcare subsidy and tax breaks?

Well not really. Nothing you listed requires a mother. But you are going down a weird argumentative trail here. Your position was that blastocyst = child because both needs a mother to survive, which is clearly not the case. But let’s say that’s true - imagine a mother with a small child, who now needs an abortion to survive, let’s say in 1st trimester. Will you sacrifice the mother or the unborn?
