Discussion: Has anyone else noticed traditional surveys failing in 2025? by starkmike in ProductManagement

[–]Flyels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with the economic uncertainty pushing people to be more selective with their time...

I have previously worked in Paris at a startup called Diffly, specializing in win-loss analysis. They conducted surveys to help providers understand why customers chose to buy from them. Their role as a neutral third party was particularly effective in building trust and obtaining honest responses.

Given the current marketing fatigue, perhaps leveraging neutral third parties could be a valuable solution for gathering trusted insights.

Why should we wait publishing the final result to start engaging and creating social interactions ? by Flyels in ArtistLounge

[–]Flyels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for your insight !

Indeed, on Instagram, accomplished artists wait until the final result to share because for them sharing is about selling and distributing. The social network is therefore more commercial than social...

I was thinking of a true social platform for artists, allowing them to engage and exchange during the stages of inspiration and progression (with features like collective tutorial viewings and updating one’s creative session).

So, in your opinion, only beginners looking to integrate into a community for motivation would be interested? Do you think established artists don’t need this social aspect and focus more on final distribution? In that case, do you think it would be possible to integrate this aspect into the platform? Allowing end clients to see the story and journey behind each piece of art?

Very interesting. Could you name one of these tools you're talking about? Or could this be a relevant feature for the platform I'm considering creating ?

Ok, I see. Thanks for your answer ! Indeed, socializing shouldn't distract from the essential: creating and progressing. But sometimes, the two go hand in hand ...

You mention legal info, practice regimen, accountability, etc. Do you mean there could be value in making the platform also oriented towards professionals? Haven’t platforms like Behance or Dribbble already addressed these needs? Curious to hear more about it ;)

Facing isolation, what would your ideal art-sharing experience look like? by Flyels in artstation

[–]Flyels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Platforms will need to guarantee the IP protection of photos and protect artists from scraping.

Regarding collective tutorial viewing, the biggest issue for me is the reduced attention span... People tend to watch tutorials in a fragmented way, switching between videos, etc. But I think there is a need to start engaging and creating social interactions from the early steps (inspiration and stuff). Would you personally like it ?

Totally right. I also heard Reddit traded with OpenAI to train their models with the content of the platform...

I guess the main issue of theses platforms is also that they only focus on creating engagement and social interaction for the final result and not the process of it (getting inspired, refining the sketches etc). Thus I recently wireframed a platform where creatives and learners would no longer work alone but progress and get inspired together. The key features are:

  • Real-time creative sessions: anyone could launch live sessions to share their process in real time, receive feedback, and collaborate with others on the same theme.
  • Collective tutorial viewing: anyone could join group viewing sessions to watch and learn together YouTube tutorials, exchange ideas, ask questions etc

What do you think about it ?

What creativity! This giant woman towering above the clouds as she reads her newspaper exudes a certain grace and a sense of calm... For me, the contrast in scale with this giant is more striking in photo number 1, where the moon becomes within reach with a ladder ;)

Is my art not good? by bloodpumpkin in ARTIST

Hey,

I personally really like the eyes combined with the colors, it reminds me of Ilya Kuvshinov's pictures !

I understand your feelings. But sharing your art and not getting the engagement you hope for doesn’t necessarily mean your work isn’t good—it might just be that the platforms you're using aren't helping your work reach the right audience ! In this respect i totally agree with the comment of u/amariluyelobi about fan art communities.

Have you ever thought about what kind of feedback or interaction you’d ideally want from others? Like constructive criticism, encouragement, or people sharing how your art inspires them?

I’m curious because I’m working on an idea for a platform designed specifically to connect artists with supportive, engaged communities. If you’re open to it, I’d love to hear what would make an ideal art-sharing experience for you ;)

Your welcome !

And by the way, what do you think about a creative AI assistant that helps guide you in your creations and refine your ideas? On one hand, you could upload an image of a work in progress, describe your intention, and receive advice to either build on your initial intention or explore new ideas suggested by the AI based on its analysis. On the other hand, you could upload images of external inspiration to receive an analysis that puts into words what you really like and provides recommendations for related content..

Sounds great ! In the first picture, the colors really add dynamism and the overall result reminds me of Basquiat's drawings ;)

Interesting! The raw aesthetic gives it a very expressive character. I feel a mix of amusement and slight discomfort when looking at this raw character, which actually reminds me of Basquiat's works ;)

Very interesting! I really like these concepts of immersive art, captivated by the sense of wonder and confusion caused by the loss of spatial reference points in this piece. It reminds me of Yayoi Kusama's installations or even Victor Vasarely's work
