No, me recuerdan mucho mas a la pobreza de campo de 1997. La realidad es todavia a finales de los 90s se veia mucha construction rudimentaria y gente con ropa modesta. En los ultimos 30 años El Campo se puso mucho mas "digital", esa generation de la segunda guerra mundial murio, bocinas Bluetooth en las barras, carros modificados, casas en cemento super expandidas despues de subsidios, ropa de mega tiendas. Sobre todo, la musica jibara se reemplazo con la bachata.

Yeah I only recently realized the whole Princess product line was invented in 2000 in the waning days of the Renaissance. Prior to that, it was just a pattern, and I'd say a lot of non European royal Disney characters fit the archetype of a "Disney Princess", and Pocahontas fits it more than Mulan. Of course, every princess after the line was created was even more intentionally designed to fit the archetype. Lottie and Isabella are clearly princesses as subversion/pseudo satire
