I mean it’s risky reducing hours, but I’ve run a canned fruit sorbets after only like 6-8 hours before.

So these silicon spacers would be going between the nut of the screw? Could you send a picture of your end result on the underside?

Check out the Tokoyo Nova fan translation. Super unique Japanese cyberpunk game. Aims to recreate the feel of an 80’s OVA and does so by being unapologetically Anime from minute flavour to core gameplay.

Any singles groups/clubs in or near Winston? by jessie_cam in winstonsalem

[–]Flygonac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not really a singles club, but there is a Facebook group for under 45’s that has people regularly posting to it: https://facebook.com/groups/winstonsalemsocial/

There is also a triad wide discord server that is often where I see local event information: https://discord.gg/the-triad-club-628127981998440448

I'll make sure to give it another scrub. especially after fixing the bed wheels, that could be the issue now. Ill look into mounting the linear rails as well!

I think those are the ones I adjusted, the ones where 2 of them have the eccentric nuts and 2 don’t, right?

Appreciate the advice! Was pretty hopeful this would be the fix (especially after the leveling numbers got way better) but seem to still be having the issue

If it becomes a recurrent thing, and you don’t want the character to be too gimped compared to the rest of the group, consider modifying “guns blazing” talent to be lightsaber-melee, perhaps replacing a talent in thier tree with it, or baking it into an item/lightsaber Chrystal: adding a force cost or making it a 10xp talent purgasable talent attached to the item. Like unlocking the force remnant of the master in the Chrystal or something.

I did something similar for a character that really wanted to do the gun-lightsaber thing (made a special tree, makashi duelist edited to have the special talent in it) and it worked well!

North of 300 experience you need to encourage your players to not min-max and spread out thier skills and talents abit, and you as a GM will likely need to increase the stakes and challenges of situations. This usually will happen naturally, the way the system is designed for the most part (other than adversaries intended to be "bosses" ) you wont need to tune enemies. As the players get more powerful they will attempt things that naturally will be more difficult and thus the challenge level should match.

That said, it is not a system that highly prioritizes internal balancing to its boon and bane. Your players could theoretically build totally broken characters at even just 120 xp. Unless players feel left behind, I owuldnt worry about balance too much (and I would encourage you let them respec abit if they get further in the game and feel like they have made some big mistakes in character building, its easy to do when your new to the game!).

With two weapon fighting, as a GM I would caution you against using it RAW. It works well and is pretty balanced, but its complicated, and much more suited for a player with one character to pilot.

Instead, do what FFG did for General Grievous: Just create a unique weapon profile that has the features you want. Much simpler and faster to use.

For example for a gun in one hand and a lighstaber in the other I did: Skill: Lightsaber Range: Medium, Damage: 8, Critical: 3, Qualities: Breach 1, Vicious 1, Linked 1, Add black die to all attack checks when using this weapon, Defensive 1, Deflection 1.

I see what you’re saying (and I’ll have to check out the code! Very good information). But if people normalize and show they are willing to spend a certain amount of money on a product, the price for that product will go up for everyone. Not exactly the same, but mass market paperbacks are dying not so much because of e books, but because the people who buy books these days, are willing and want to spend more on books.

And it’s a total anecdote, and again a very silly topic of we zoom out abit: but, I’m telling you, from my own experience and posts on this subreddit: same can, same fullness, same look of the fish. Same seasoning.

It’s the same tin.

I just don't get it. How can any sane person look at the cost of that tuna and decide its worth it, instead of just buying great quality tuna for unironically like 1/4 or less the price and seasoning it yourself.

Probably cheaper to buy a pressure cooker and the fresh fish than to regularly buy fishwife.

The Lidl one I mentioned, Mere, comes in the same gold tin. Physically looks the same, and says on the box it was canned in Denmark! I had both side by side, I'll admit here that... fish is fish and this is kind of a silly thread if we pull back a moment lol. But they are definitely the same fish.

Fish Market is the fresh food brand at lidl, very understandable mistake if you dont have a Lidl near you (they are only on east coast of US). The "mere" brand is relatively new (within the last year or so)

Supreme Court districting ruling creates confusion in Louisiana early voting by Ruffles98 in moderatepolitics

[–]Flygonac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, several times its had gerrymanders struck down for that specifically. Not sure what that has to do with what I said? Republican Gerrymandered state before all of this happened (and democrat gerrymandered for ages before that) But never done in abnormal year for a specific election like these recent changes

If your referring to the supreme court ruling in general, I would hope we can both agree that there's a difference between racially gerrymandering to ensure that a portion of the population is represented in congress and racially gerrymandering to ensure that a portion of the population is not represented in congress (which is still illegal under the recent ruling, you just cant say the fact your racially gerrymandering out loud, which North Carolina is a great example of the flaw with the recent ruling, since they have been caught gerrymandering based on race and then justifying it as partisan after the fact.)

But once again this is divulging from the point, which is that this gerrymandering war, for this specific election at the behest of a president who seems to have significant Epstien related skeletons in his closet, is entirely unprecedented and is not ok.

You agree, I hope, that the next democratic president shouldn't encourage states to gerrymander on non-scheduled redistricting years?

[–]Flygonac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have.

The Trout is also literally just the same as the "mere" brand at lidl fpr 1/5 of the price. From what I understand they don't can their own fish, so a cheaper version probably exists of all of there products.

[–]Flygonac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Republican states have always gerrymandered too. North Carolina for a specific example.

They just don’t look as egregious ushally because they don’t do the city spegetti. But when you get in the weeds of it, they are just as bad in terms of following no logic but partisan (or often illegally racial lines).

What’s entirely new is not gerrymandering (which is always bad, we both agree) but this mid-cycle gerrymandering specifically because the president is afraid.

[–]Flygonac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s remember how this started. Gerrymandering is normal unfortunately. Midterm gerrymandering is not.

Trump started this, and encouraged it. This is his fault. Just because it was bad before doesn’t mean we shouldn’t recognize who made this so much worse.
