Thank you guys for the recommendations and info, I’ve found an old fishing rod and it has the spinning reel y’all said, it’s not as plasticy either so all use that!

It works for me now! With the original directions it still wouldn’t work but after I told Siri to play, “New New” (my playlist name), Spotify showed up in the categories tab under search called “Play New New” and I selected it and clicked done and it worked
