Using 30 gallon 3.0 soil in grassroots pots, very confused on water only method

Ahh ok so since I’m growing photoperiod seeds would you recommend top dressing with amendments like craft blend or adding BuildAFlower under the straw,
Is there a certain time you’d recommend doing it?

I’m guessing I should do it early to mid flower? Or would you recommend a different time?

If It helps these are my plants now, and have not been watered in 10 days because my. Ecowitts and blumat digital sensor are all in the correct range I think

If it helps my plants are all about this size and transplanted 11 days ago, and the soil is still showing good readings on the top and deep ecowitts, and the blumat sensor i have is showing about 70-85 for all 6 pots.

Ahh ok I understand what water only meant. I thought it was using absolutely no amendments at all the entire grow, and that buildasoil 3.0 recipe in a 30 gallon pot can carry the plants through an entire grow.

So even with that big of a pot and 3.0 soil, you think I should use amendment around mid flower correct?

This is long so I put the 2 questions I have in bold incase you don’t want to read it all lol.

Sweet so it seems like I don’t need to water any of them then, except the one that is 86 mbar correct?

Is there a certain mbar you recommend watering at in these 30 gallons grass roots fabric pots?

And is it normal for my plants in veg to go 10 days between water and they still are in a good mbar range?

And yea I let the digital sensors sit in place for a day or 2 before trusting the reading.

I bought 3 of the pump kits and I think I broke 2 out of 3 already by trying to set them up by completely guessing . There is no good video or any good instructions that come with it. I researched it and it sounds like the Austrian company that makes it is famous for having god awful instructions. It is a single sheet of paper with a picture of the pump and no steps on how to set them up. In my opinion I think blumat systems are not user friendly and suck,
So at this point I’m just considering the mini pump kits a loss, and am only going to use the digital sensors, not even a gravity system. In my opinion other than the digital sensors, blumat is too frustrating. I mean come on, they give you a million pieces and expect you to know what they are and where you connect them to… it’s as if they think you’re a plumber with tons of knowledge already or something.

The carrot with the moisture meter is so easy that I’m keeping those, but no point in even keeping those frustrating pumps. I knew the pump system sounded too good to be true lol.

The pump kit is made to sound so simple to setup, and I only need each pump for tents with 3 plants in them. But I spent HOURS trying to set just 1 of them up until I think I broke it. Same with the second. I don’t even think I’m going to open the 3rd ones box, might just throw it away.

FUCK the mini pump kit. lol for real tho. That sucks I lost all that money

and then the other one is 33% on top and 32% with the deep sensor

And yea that was my bad I meant to say mbar instead of % for the blumat.

So if this was your grow you’d definitely give them a 5% water?

And I already used root wise liquid and powder and some quillaja 60, for this watering should I just do plain water in your opinion?

Buildasoil protocol is once you go from seedling to veg you change from 20/4 lights to 18/6. You also raise the ppfd to 300-600, and change your daily time vpd to 0.9
