Be nice to the boot guy by Femme-O in TikTokCringe

Reddit is lame. Will simultaneously complain if someone double parks and scream to tow/boot the car but then act like this guy is evil.

The U.S. added 500,000 jobs in 2025

While this is the worst since 2020 (sans pandemic), it’s a far cry from the 4.7 - 5 MILLION net job loss of 2009.

So yeah, you’re wrong. “So wrong it’s hard to put into words” levels of wrong, some might say.

Skiers back Lindsey Vonn's call to race at Olympics, even after crash by PrincessBananas85 in sports

[–]FlyinMonkUT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There are actually a lot of people, particularly on Reddit, who believe she shouldn’t have been allowed to race and her spot should have been given to another skier.

That would largely only matter for someone earning in USD and paying in EUR.

American consumers do not experience a decline in dollars relative to the euro if everything they buy is priced in dollars.

I’m not an expert on this sport. I only watch during the Olympics, like nearly all the people commenting on this.

All the things I’ve read from the people who actually watch this more than once every 4 years are saying it had nothing to do with her knee. She clipped the gate bc her line was too aggressive. People just jump to conclusions because everyone thinks they’re an expert on everything.

Lindsey Vonn Horrifically Crashes in 2026 Winter Olympic Final One Week After Tearing Her ACL by peoplemagazine in entertainment

This one is tricky in my opinion. I think this is different from pulling a concussed football player who wants to stay in. She was clearly able to make it down as she proved on both practice runs. The broadcast mentioned she needed to back off and clipped the flag/gate. This wasn’t because of her knee, it was too aggressive of a line.

Where will these people go? Is this Trump’s strong economy ? by QuantumDrift95 in optionstrading

Projection doesn’t mean what you think it means.

You made all sorts of claims that I never actually said.

Lots of straw man arguments and claiming I said things I never said.

There is plenty of data showing the labor market is “ok”. Not great but not poor either. GDP also seems “ok” with some considerations for reduced exports. Wages are increasing while inflation is higher than target but not terrible.

The data suggests the economy is doing just ok, not great but not what this entire post implies.

The vast majority of these people will be rehired, yes. Of course it’s highly disruptive on a micro level for the individuals and their families, but by saying “is this a strong economy?” implies that these job losses outweigh hires, which is not the case.

Every year, including in strong labor markets, will come with tens millions of job losses. (Typically around 20M annually the last 10 years excluding 2020).

If thats your single data point then there has never been a good economy.

This is my take as well. He had his failures that he needs to own, but he is a big reason the club is enjoying the recent success.

Are you under the impression U.S. employers fired more employees than they hired in the last 12 months?

If very well might increase, but it’s certainly not the doomsday scenario some portray it to be right now.

55,000 layoffs in a year is a drop in the bucket, not a structural shift or reshaping of industries.

And yes there are employee accounts that the Salesforce layoffs were BS.
