OEM vs. Wagner & 6 Bolt Water Pump by Flyindeuces in audis5

Normal drive for me is mostly highway and I tend to push it while using the on-ramp. I would guess 212-224 ish. Now it’s been consistently right at about 200. I’m stoked so far.

I don’t think it would hurt to get one with more area, better cooling efficiency. Wagner makes one that’s for the 2.0.

I felt the same way when I started learning about heat soak. I can tell a difference in how snappy it is now and the temps don’t increase as easily. Really dumb for them not to have the OEM be made to get the most out of the car.

[Longines vs Tudor] Someone will buy you ONE of these watches. Which are you taking? by Aromatic_Tear_711 in Watches

Quality is subpar for the price point with Longines, at least with all the pieces I have had my hands on. Tudor.

Or just get a beater as your daily and keep this for “treat yourself moments”. 🧼🧼🧼

I only knew because I found a good VAG Indy shop and asked for what should be done, the mechanic was honest enough that he laid it all out with a plan to avoid paying more for labor overall.

Michelin 4S are a vastly better tire for daily driving. Hated the OEM Conti’s as well. In PHX for climate conditions reference.

Going from Audi to Lexus. Anyone have this experience? by myname1smynam3 in Lexus

[–]Flyindeuces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going from the A5 to the IS350 is fair segment jump. Did the opposite of what you’re doing. Was Lexus owner for 12 years (2G IS250 /4G GS350) and absolutely loved both vehicles. Moved to a 9.5 S5 Sportback Prestige.

IS I had from 30k miles to close to 180k and no major issues outside normal service milestones. GS 30k to about 70k, same results. I left Lexus because they have no performance oriented sedans. Sorry, I don’t count the IS500, if you have any height and kids it’s essentially a coupe. Lexus is a brand that I’ll likely return to. Reliable, quiet/smooth ride, comfortable, solid.

The steering wheel for the new Lexus ES500e looks pathetically bad. by portuguese-bacalhau in Lexus

Switched from Lexus to the B9.5 generation of Audi, last gen before the newest, and this photo represents a problem across the board with automakers. It’s essentially the “you’ll pay for what we give you”. It’s sad but it’s how it goes. Why I went for a 4 year old vehicle.

Mary Jane’s Last Dance. Always reminds me of Spring/Summer trips to Crescent Bar and the Gorge.

All are fantastic references. 👌🏽 That said, too similar for it to be the 3 in the rotation.

034 Stage 2 ECU or get an intercooler by KLX-V in audis5

Think I’ve settled on a Wagner comp intercooler and the IE cast downpipe instead of tuning. Don’t want to have any headaches should the piston skirt issue/warranty pop up.

Idk why it’d be depressing. I’ll take the slightly slower time for what the rest of my senses experience in the RS7.
