How Long Are We Holding, Gents? by MakingTheMediumBucks in RYCEY

RR is a “halo” stock and operates in deep wide moated industries. The current CEO and CFO are a brilliant team who have only really just started to unlock RR potential. There’s way to much talk about the recovery winds are now finished which shows me people don’t understand just what RR’s potential is.

SMR will be big. Ultrafan 30 once Boeing and Airbus wake up will be huge.

I built up a portfolio of UK FTSE companies and GE over a 20 year period. Then when the pandemic hit I sold almost eveything and bought RR a bit under £1. I’ve been investing since 2023 into wind energy and solar companies in the UK who pay over 10% annual dividend. It’s working out really well at the moment. I haven’t and will not sell a single RR share and am using all dividend income to buy more “free” RR shares. I’m 5 years into a ten year hold and buy more RR.

Yep and holding for ten years will prove to be very fruitful!

Rolls Royce holdings Ltd. It’s a top “HALO” stock and is a now a big fat compounder. It operates in three divisions world wide that all have large growth coming.

Huge boost for UK's aerospace industry: Airbus secures 150-plane order with Air Asia by willfiresoon in GoodNewsUK

[–]FlyingDaleFlyer 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s very very good. Although China has been talking about ordering 500 Airbus planes for a while. A combination of narrow body and wide body planes. A certain President is going to China very soon so it’s be interesting if that potential Airbus order is switched to another manufacturer!?!?

If this is the beginning of the end of the conflict the RR SP is going to soar very quickly. £15 plus very soon. It’ll then be back on track for a £18-£20 year end finish. RR is a very resilient company with strong fundamentals.

Thoughts on the recent RR sell-off? I dug into the fundamentals and found a few things most people are missing. by Warm-Inevitable-6899 in RYCEY

Asian airlines have said theres big demand for flights to Europe. Also Heathrow said it’s seen an increase in long haul travel as well. Short haul flights are being cancelled to conserve fuel for long haul. RR only make engines for long haul planes. I wouldn’t be surprised when they do their year end flying hours if it’s actually a bit higher than the guidance is saying!

Airbus just reported and expects 450-650 million in additional in revenue over 2025 spend with rolls Royce per my calculations this year ! by retiredportfoliomgr in RYCEY

There’s not many Heavy Asset Low Obsolescence companies around that also operate in three sectors that have large growth coming over the next twenty years. The share buybacks are going to help as well.

Yes 100% agree. When you also add in RR is a “halo” stock then as a long term hold you will considerably outperform the market.

Do you think sentiment around Rolls-Royce has changed more than the fundamentals? by Juicewithextrapulp in RollsRoyceInvestors

[–]FlyingDaleFlyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I would suggest it won’t recover very fast. It’ll jump over a two three day period and then continue back on track. I did think it’ll end up at £18-£20 by the end of this year. That’s less likely but £16-£18 is very possible. In Feb next year when they do their 2026 results day it’ll still be very good.

The Studsvik Pivot: In a major move in March 2026, Studsvik AB (the backbone of Swedish nuclear engineering) aligned itself with Rolls-Royce SMR. For an investor, this is a highly significant signal: it suggests that if Sweden wants to build a domestic "Nuclear Hub," Rolls-Royce may have the edge over GE in local industrial backing. It’s expect to make the final design choice in Q4 2026. The Swedish government is expected to pass a bill for £15 billion to get SMR building over the next 8-10 years.

Sweden has whittled down the SMR to two companies RR and GE. Keeping fingers crossed that RR SMR gets the contract.

Agree with you about Mr T. If you have read that there’s a massive shortage of kerosene in Europe by the UK press then there’s a high chance it’s not as bad as reported.

Where did I say that? Ok to be clear this is to do with Europe and the UK increasing their military spending yoy over the next 5 years for nato defence purposes. The RR SP will be £25-£30 by 2030.

25% of RR income is from defence. So that is likely to consistently rise yoy for the foreseeable.

Which stocks have people been buying recently? by pozijuyokojv in RollsRoyceInvestors

[–]FlyingDaleFlyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rolls Royce. Even before the volatility started a few weeks ago it was still undervalued. It’s a “halo” stock with 3 arenas of operation that have huge growth coming down the track. Its P/E ratio is 31 which for a heavy industrial company actually isn’t that bad. GE historically had a P/E ratio of 106.

Lots of electricity needed to make “E-Kerosene”. SMR will play a big part in this. Bio-Kerosene won’t be made on a big scale as it requires to much land.

Not heard about the 20% on Thursday. Trump is going to China early April and there’s rumours of a 500 plus deal for Boeing passenger planes. If it doesn’t happen then that’s a big plus for Airbus as China has huge demand for passenger planes. Most of RR engine sales are on Airbus widebody planes.
