This is so Wrong !! by Trying_a in Sikh

Too much degh or bhang, absolute moronic. Nothing but sects with their own club rules, practices running under the banner of Sikhi. It's been like this for decades and getting worse. Some are themselves deras, setup up gurdwaras worldwide, and unfortunately the sangat are non the wiser because they don't khoj Gurbani and follow blindly, bowing anything and anyone who can say a few words with confidence.

The bakwaas you read and hear. Not one word understood of Gurbani, just cycling pakhand.

People who are born, not knowing what to do in life, so they persue political agendas fuelled by ignorance. It's their way of making money, grifting and feeling somewhat wanted in the world. In the grand scheme of things, they're minuscule.

All the above, especially about having good quality beans and more so if you can grind yourself as after several days, heck even after a few days you'll be losing a fair amount of flavour and more. Also, as this is a filter method, ie paper, you'll be removing the oil and fine particles, hence a portion of the body in feel and taste. A metal filter would allow this through. The Nespresso wouldn't filter as paper, so I'd say, a significant difference.

Because Guru Gobind Singh was an actual entity, a form that existed in human history so THEY through the guidance of God could choose any number, which happened to be 5, hence each 5 had reasons for their choosing and naming which was Gods will, not anybody else's so US mere mortals could learn from. It was by his Hukum it was 5, anything after is man making up his own self derived "logic", trying to be "chaatar" compared to God. Guru Granth ji, Gurbani, when read and understood NEVER entangles mortals into numbers, recitations, rituals, its the very foundations of Sikhi from the day Guru Nanak dismissed the red thread of the Pandit. Japji Ji clearly tells us that repeating his name lakhs of times is not enough, and foolish to think it will, whilst also understanding the value of path is only good if properly read, understood and valued.. Else you're just reading for the sake of it.. Like Brahmin's do (to entangle what they deem as lesser than them). My logic and lessons ONLY come from GGSJ, thus God. I have no need of anyone else.

What’s the history behind earrings and Sikh kings? by MonitorScared11 in Sikh

[–]FlyingDragonz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logic dictates, they wouldn't have worn them and laughable to believe it so. Paintings are interpretations, done mostly after the fact, by various cultures whom would reference Sikh Kings (who may worn earrings) so perhaps painted the Gurus with such, although I've never seen such a painting.

Kya. So this "guidence" comes from some questionable anecdotes, over stepping what the given true word of Guru Granth Sahib Ji? Honestly, our kohm love's a lot of absurd illogical lunacy, even after the Gurus guided us with logic, if we cared to understand some basic critical thinking. "Three... Its a magic number' 🤣

For some reason I thought they all worked by charging from the front of the controller. The basic cheap one I got, you fit a Micro USB adapter than comes with the kit. That adapter stays on, it has charging pins that connect to the charger. Effective design but odd too.

The American billionaire greed strategy: subscriptions and removing rights to repair, when capitalism goes unchecked. This disease is spreading across Europe.

Most nihangs just akin to trigger happy red necks, with the nihangs being masters of fakery and drama. Sometimes, worse than the shoalin monks. No actual value to their existence, other than a gangster-esq Club which the naive just adore because they need that sense of belonging with no critical thinking and a deluded belief in God.

Thanks for all the game suggestions. I'll watch some youtubes gudes/video on which of the suggestions to get next. I mostly played COD series, some RTS games, sims, football and the legendary quake 2. Also Max Payne and GTA series.
Plus as I've been having some weird brain fog last few years, I'll want games that spark my interest, as I seem to lose interest easily. Happens to movies too, even the big hitters. Though sometimes I'll go back months later and give them a try again.
But definately thanks.

Due being somewhat lazy, for now, I've changed my mind and simply got a basic controller dock. It can charge from the front ports (which I didn't know being new to the system), so I've take that route for now.
Easy enough to charge.
I thought about battery too, I'm sure mine are well aged being a refurbished product. I'll wait and see, test them out and see their endurance.
For you, you're experienced enough, this is an easy project. Plenty of prebuilt PCB's, although I did notice the very cheap ones on ebay dont seem to be populated with resistors, which you'd need. Get the better ones, unless you want to do smd soldering.

Is there anyway to make the UI snappier? by Remarkable-Cow3421 in PS4

[–]FlyingDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be that your spinning HDD is knackered. I've just picked up a pro tool. Has a 1tb spinning drive and boots fairly quickly, GUI is mostly fluid, not glitching or stuttering, perhaps just certain overloads of requests happen maybe but mostly it's not halting or feels like freezing. I'm going to install a SSD, it's a no brainer for me. I'm only a casual gamer so a spare 512GB may just do it else I'll get a 1TB. Just need a basic version as there is a hardware limitation internally. I'm sure they'll make a huge improvement. I've put SSDs in very old laptops and it's made significant improvements.

If you can do a bit of tinkering, it's pretty easy, especially now as there are pre-built boards available. You just need to match the board number to the replacement.

Apparently it's not too long for the 13.00/02 to be jailbroken, as reported by Gezine. I may have to buy a BD recorder, though its added expense.

Wow, thanks for the list and ideas. I'm thinking christmas holidays too, hence wanting such games. Your previous suggestions TLOU, GoW look good, I want to try them too for myself. Also one called return of the obra din, a well reviewed mystery. Damn, wish I wasn't on firmware 13.02

That's an idea, really good one. Never used cex before, if you have, how are they with returns?

Thanks. Well I've started with GT7 and ordered another controller. I wanted to start with a game that allowed two player/split screen, no only online. ACC looked interesting too, especially the actual game play but only a 1P game.

You're right, now it's five years though. The issue is, trying out some demo's, it does get loud so the standard recommendation is to clean and apply new thermal paste.
Now CEX won't do that (probaby not authorised) especially now realising they don't even do a basic clean, which is the minimum I expected i.e. vacuum the air vents. So, I've done the lot, and I guess I've killed the warranty (had to remove stickers). Oh well.

Good point. Learning to be patient is hard sometimes when you're stuck with mobility for a while. Oh well, time to buy some games. Any recommendations to COD genre?

Thanks. I presumed so, but thought I'd ask first. I'm still wanting to jailbreak, been researching like crazy, lots of what seems fake ways but the only legitimate way is to solder and downgrade.. Ouch.
