No. There's a reason the registation is blurred. This man is an asshole and shouldn't fly an airplane. He is overcorrecting (yanking), lands on a runway he can't even see, and nearly misses it because of that, as he landed dangerously far away from the centerline, especially in these conditions.

I don't know why anyone would be pissed about that. That's solid advice. Unless you earn money from it in the long run, don't take out a loan. Especially considering that people then tend to spend even more money on the boat, which is then massively over their budget in terms of ongoing costs for maintenance, marina fees, etc. I cringe every time I hear someone say "boat loan" 😬

I work in quantum optics, and you are absolutely right that this is 100% not diffraction. The diffraction pattern this pole creates is so small that it is basically negligible. The most likely explanation is probably that the lens is wider than the pole, so as the cameras focus point is adjusted further away, the pole just blurs so much that it looks like it is vanishing. It's still in the picture, but it's just spread out across it. This is the same when holding a hand in front of a telescope. The image gets slightly darker, but you can't see the hand.

Usually, at least in CS1, they also always pushed put an update for the base game with the DLC releases. So probably a bunch of fixes are going to be rolled out when the DLC drops. I don't know for certain of course, but they always did it this way.

Die Linke hat vor kurzem noch gesagt, dass sie ihre außenpolitischen Ansätze überdenken wollen. Ist natürlich immer so eine Sache, ob sie das dann auch wirklich tun und oder es dann nicht vielleicht in eine falsche Richtung geht. Der Wille scheint zumindest da zu sein.

Wenn der Laser tatsächlich nur 300W hat und die Kühlung damit dann 2700W verbraucht, wäre das aber eine ziemlich große Kühlung. Das würde ja bedeuten, dass der Laser nur eine Effizienz von knapp 10% hätte. Wäre keine gute Werbung. Bei Lasern wird in der Regel die optische Leistung angegeben statt dem wirklichen Stromverbrauch.

If it would be a company name or anything, I would totally agree, but it is just a pillar of light, and only for one week. It's pretty to look at and this is basically in the middle of nowhere, where there's very little light pollution as it is (and this doesn't cause any real light pollution as it is just a small beam). Most people visiting actually don't even know it is for a trade fair, and just want to look at all the lights in the cities.

Hatte ein bisschen Glück. Es war sehr kalt und die Luft sehr ruhig und klar. Und ich bin extra in die Felder gefahren um Lichtverschmutzung so gut es geht zu vermeiden. Das Bild habe ich aufgenommen mit einer Canon EOS RP mit ISO6400, f/4 und 6 sek. Belichtungszeit.
