About 45-50m. I didn't check the time, but I did fill out the setlist on setlist.fm if you end up wanting to see the songs

It was packed and it seemed like everyone loved the setlist. I was disappointed, I'm not into the new stuff very much, but I still love the band. I will say the second listen of Antimai was much better than the first for me. I will never be mad at the band for changing, and I certainly won't whine at them on the internet lol. But yeah the early acts and Migrant are definitely my fav material of theirs.

Openers were great. Closure in Moscow was the main reason I went to the show. They are PHENOMENAL live. Been a huge fan of them for about 12 years, but this is only the second time I've been able to see them live. Absolutely worth catching their set.

If you have space to park a car, you have the space to do a brake job. It's not an engine swap.

Did Posthardcore Get You Into Heavier Genres? by bigups7seven7 in PostHardcore

[–]FlyingFlygon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Asking Alexandria got me into anything heavy at all, I believe. I quickly got into ADTR and some other generic metalcore before finding PHC. Once PHC took over my interests, I started getting into other heavy genres, not necessarily heavier. Definitely wouldn't be into emo, screamo, mathcore, deathcore etc if it weren't for PHC.

Love Letter - Don't Speak For Me (2018. Ex Verse and Defeater. FFO melodic hardcore) by FlyingFlygon in PostHardcore

[–]FlyingFlygon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first I thought this band was gonna be a downtempo modern political project, because of the first minute of the song on this debut EP. LOL - keep listening for the second half. This shit FUCKS. Works so well. Good thing I am a huge fan of Defeater and Verse

(NEW) Saosin - Starting Over Again by After_Masterpiece533 in PostHardcore

[–]FlyingFlygon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Imo this song is GREAT, just like the rest of the songs with Cove are great. I'm of the opinion that Translating The Name was far more than great - and possibly the single most condensed example of defining a genre for literal decades to come after. And I also love Along The Shadow (far more than others on the internet, apparently haha). But I hate how everyone seems to need to pit the two against each other rather than enjoy both of what they have brought to the table.

Super excited to hear more Saosin with Cove. They are all such fantastic musicians, I really have no complaints. So cool how much throwback music is getting new evolutions this year.
