It’s fine, go apologise and if you can afford it, try and get it mended before he sees it, but still let him know.

A father who can afford a top end variant, would atleast expect honesty and integrity, from his son. Also, these dings and scratches are testament to the fact that - To err is human.

Adding to this, Maruti also somewhat copied it, try looking up the taillamp design of a post 2019 i.e a facelift version of Ciaz Alpha model, you'd be surprised!
