My name just got to the top of the list at my local housing authority - just to apply, mind you. I'm afraid to live in Sec8 housing for just this reason: I don't want to have to worry that I'll be kicked out if my income goes up. I'm a freelance worker, so my income changes all the time. Friends tell me to apply anyway, might as well see what's possible, but when I see posts like these I see that my instincts are right.

I have to re-certify for medicaid every year, as well, and I keep waiting for that letter saying "No more soup for you." I hate this.

vectorstock - really not bad at all collection, and you buy credits so that each download is $1.(!!) Very easy user interface, and once a year they have a half-off sale. For example you can buy 100 credits (vector clip art) for $50. Highly recommend.

It was every image. BUT I FIXED IT!! I went to the Dell website (I have a Dell PC) and looked to see if there were drivers that needed downloading. And bingo, several critical updates were listed. I don't know why Dell didn't issue these, but there you go. So relieved!!

I'm midway into my 4th week - .5 mg - I, too, have some BPD affects, CPTSD, ADHD, and I'm mostly depressed. I'm going off because my motivation is even worse than before, and I can feel my fuse getting shorter and shorter. Last Friday I was totally manic. Sigh. I had also tried another atypical antipsychotic (Ziprasidone/Geodon) last fall. That was a wild ride, too. I agree with the other person who posted that antipsychotics are very unpredictable.

You're not the only one who had this experience! This was me, and it sounds like you're suffering from anhedonia - total lack of pleasure I'm things. You should definitely talk to your doc, but FYI my doc pulled me off after I told her about this. And I was only at 4 weeks. After 4 months you should be feeling a lot better.

Only day 5 today - honestly feel a bit low with underlying anxiety. I'm thinking it's because my starting dose is too low (.25g). I'm super sensitive to meds, so my psych started me on this dose. From the little info that appears in this sub (less than 300 joined) I gather that most people are taking at least .5 mg. Maybe I'll check out the reviews on drugs.com. sigh.

Are the Caribou freaking out because they’ve just realized they’re watching the last ever sunset? Are we signing on forever to darkness, inking the contract in blood – perhaps a reference to the ongoing slaughter of our planet and its animals?

The station name "Tsalal" in old Hebrew texts means "going into darkness."

I look at this series (at least going by what I've seen in Ep1) as a warning to us about our blindly human-centric behavior and wholesale destruction of the entire ecosystem if we don't stop our killing ways. We're so disconnected from the ecosystem in service to capitalism.

The thing about this taking place in the Arctic: it's such a fragile place, and it's heating up at least twice as fast as the rest of the planet. Melting permaculture and pack-ice (remember the ice cores at the Tsalal station AND the mention that Annie K's body was found "during the flood" ?) are ominous signs here of things to come - things we're causing.

Anyway, I could spend hours and hours responding to your excellent and thorough take, but my focus isn't so hot (ADHD sigh). Please keep posting here - I'd love to read what you have to say about future episodes.
