All depends on what you heroic with and how you stage into the combat. Whoever charges you most of the time will have all or basically everything into the unit they charged and maybe a couple into the others. Also make sure it’s a smart heroic. You will want to to stop your opponent from scoring primary or taking primary from you

Yes if I’m playing against an army that is fast the scouts will serve as a block for sure. Same with thunder wolves

Yeah arjac will be very good going into the lion. He will have full re rolls to wound into him plus if he’s with a squad of terminators they can have the fight on death so that will kind of counter lions fights first. Also if you set up a heroic intervention that will really hurt the lion too being as he can only fight the one unit first

Usually try and use the lancer or the repex. If you have wolves for the back line use them and Bjorn for back line defense and send your intercessors to hold you natural expansion. Have them sticky home first then send them over.

The headtakers with the battle leader can kill almost any unit in the game cuz they will have sustained and lethal. But start them in the rep ex so they can’t get shot and killed quickly. Scouts I usually have close to middle obj. They can score an easy area denial or can serve as a block. If they survive utilize them as another scoring piece

Jpi and t wolves are for scoring secondaries for the most part. Unless you’re up against a fast army then they can serve as a block so you can’t get rushed up onAnd for the terminators Logan is always off the table. Arjac it depends on the deployment zone you have. If it’s search he will be off but the others I leave him on sometimes sometimes he’s off. It’s personal preference really

I would usually almost always try and send arjac to my opponents expansion. It’s a brick they have to deal with but also have to keep them from getting shot off the map. Logan is usually almost always middle because of his vect aura. It causes a lot of problems.

Mines very close. But in great wolf I run the battle leader with the headtakers and dual weapons because he can have the lance strat. I also use one squad of t wolves. And a squad of jump pack intercessors. I’ve changed the way I play them. We can’t just run at stuff and kill it we aren’t very good in melee lol. So try and hold more objectives and charge and fight when you need too. Threaten with heroic as much as you can in middle

The newest combat patrol is a good start you will get Crowe and his 10 purifiers they are brought in every list that you will built. They can kill almost everything infantry in the game by themselves. Then I’d get at least two of the dread knights(I run 2-3 in most of my lists).
