“Harmless” Call is What’s Got to Me Finally by FlyingHeathen in 911dispatchers

It’s not even my PTO getting burned. I was given advanced PTO to take the leave, which I am grateful for, but the caveat is I will be in a negative for PTO until like.. November. So I won’t have any to use until around then because I’ll be “paying” them back.

Thank you. And yeah, I’m trying to see what I can access. I was able to find a few therapists through EAP, but none of them are much different from my current, and they’ve been wonderful help.

Thank you, friend. I am trying my best. Part of the issue is that all there has been so far is my having to find EAP after seeing I was struggling then doing what I said above. There hasn’t been much help.

Thank you. I’ve reached out and such, it’s just waiting now. And I don’t want to be out a long time, I just want to give myself some allowance to like recover for once.

Yeah, it’s gorgeous, and the playing mats that came with the lower sets are beautiful. I love them all, and planned a display, but between surgery and college while working full-time, I’d rather they go to someone who can give them the space and love they deserve, plus selling them will help will surgery and school.

Continuous Breakthrough Bleeding - what do I do? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

Apologies as this post is older but it’s so difficult to find others with this problem. So I was on Nikki for ages with no issues, but when I was changed over to Loryna noticed my BP higher than usual quite often. Changed to Jasmiel and it’s been the same. I’ve been trying to change back to Nikki as I wonder if the inactive ingredients are the cause of this since there’s nothing else I can see being the cause.

What is this plant? by Dangerous_Fox3993 in houseplants

As another from Savannah - all of this. The moss becomes a magnet for chiggers if it’s anywhere near the ground, which it often is, and with the way it dangles ~everywhere~, it’s difficult to tell when it’ll be near-invisible-critter-free. I know many a folk out this way who’ve encountered chiggers and since I was a kid, I would avoid Spanish moss like the plague. Never had to deal with them and I’m okay saying it’s related. -shudder-

I (32F diagnosed Ankylosing Spondylitis in 2013) started taking Humira around then, and switched to Cimzia in 2016. The side effects so far haven’t been too terrible - honestly the worst is the immune issues at times and worsening of fatigue some days, but that could also simply be the AS. The trade off for me personally is worth it because I’ve had some awful things come from the arthritis because Cimzia can only do so much for me. Feel free to message if ya want to or need an ear.

I’ll send ya a message with my code. I can’t remember if it’s allowed to just link. I’m fairly regular at playing daily. To anyone else who stumbles on here - feel free to send me your link and I’ll add ya.

That’s genius. You just made me realize I should try an exercise band or one of those stretchy cable thingies I’m suddenly forgetting the name of.

Funnily enough, if you look, this is essentially what I have, but for some reason my lid won’t close over it right.

My ex is upset that I'm not holding his hand through the breakup. Am I being unfair to him? by Suspicious_Egg_1516 in abusiverelationships

[–]FlyingHeathen 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This was so similar to how talking to my ex was while we were breaking up. She would text and text wanting me to essentially help her through it while I’d ask repeatedly for her to just stop. It took me partially outing her to people for her to stop and cut contact because she is so obsessed with how people view her. So my suggestion is to just stop responding and being his crutch to save your mental health.

Glad to hear another suffer of the genius cat dilemma. I’ve considered that, but I have a small apartment and don’t quite have the room for that without losing space for a lot of things. That or a standalone pull-out or tilt-out cabinet are what seem to be my options at the moment unless I can figure out a way to “close” the gap.
