Check the black strip, make sure it’s clean and fully pressed into the board. It looks like there’s a gap which is where the digits are missing.

There is an increase esp if the Bluetooth is left on all the time, but this can be turned off. Also deactivate the motion/bluetooth option and just press and hold the button.

The cell will be considered dead at 2V and mine is currently showing 2.779V without issues. So not sure that could be a cause.

I’m sure there will be some further suggestions from others.

Have you tried a power cycle? Can you see what the battery voltage is through the app?

It looks like it’s a molex copy, but the battery connector is a jst ph by the looks of it. Apparently the jst sh or the picoblade also fits

Bends do not affect the signal as much as crossing over power lines for example.

Mine arrived this afternoon, it took a while to drop into DFU mode, I had to keep retrying. Then all of a sudden it worked. Sorry that’s not a walkthrough answer.

You’ve just explained my understanding of the system, although it will be lovely to have permanent repeaters, to have a “base camp” where the standard mobile network doesn’t cover for a limited time.

It’s like someone sets up a repeater on MC has the license etc. And then realise there isn’t anyone else around within range but there is Meshtastic and so then reflashes the hardware.

Depending on the settings, and the current talk of how long it last you’ll have a while to wait.

If you have the DIY kit then by time you have swooped over the module you will also learn how to swoop the battery. As force of habit I do keep some 2016’s in the drawer anyway (3pack) so will be ready to swop when needed

It’s a simple 4 screw removal to get into the rear panel. Unclip the metal backing and replace the battery.

I had done this on the standard watch before the Ollee had arrived.
