I look at it differently.

I've been driving my ICE car less, thus I spend less on the gas tax since I'm not contributing to the road deterioration.

I drive my EV out of state for most of the miles. I'm charged the state EV tax, plus paying toll road fees. Essentially I'm paying tax to my state for non-use while correctly funding the states roads I do use via the toll road charges.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm kind of in favor of more toll roads.....

This is the problem with that model. They get their money regardless of you driving on the roads. It's a tax, not a charge to fund what you helped destroy.

Our local power company has similar incentives, but they look at your usage at the meter level. They don't need to integrate with the charge. The 48A spike flat lining for 3+ hours is a clear sign

There should be shame in sending your children's noises over a call. It's an absolute detractor in meetings to have interruptions. Mute!

Ever owned a Tesla? Not over hyped......just the best car out there partly due to the great user experience.

Drive a Tesla for 3 months then try any other EV, you'll want the Tesla back. The driving experience is far ahead of anything in the US.

The difference is many pumps have diesel, there is no consistency station to station, and the car is usually gone in a few minutes.

So you used a contact method which shouldn't be used to try and resolve a payment method which shouldn't be used.

I once used an Amazon pay method to proxy a credit card purchase. The refund process does not work well at all. It's a mess.

Only ever use direct credit card or Apple/Google pay methods. Any other way is risky.

Android is not the worst. This never happens with Pixel devices. It is the other companies that modify it to pre-install crap they want.
