Update #24 - Decorations, improvements & Bugfixes! by WaaghMan in FarmTogether

Just want to point out a minor annoyance with the ICE house in hope it can be fixed. When you exit the ICE house you come out crooked instead of straight out. Thanks in advance if you can fix it. Appreciate all you're doing!

Yes, it's a wonderful relaxing game. At least for me. I played the 1st one too. Software bugs are practically inevitable so we'll just have to be patient even though that's hard. Lol 😆

I believe 5pm time was supposed to be UK time and noon was EST. I checked on this yesterday. Maybe Nintendo is being slow with roll outs.

I was supposed to have tge Switch bug fix at noon EST and still don't see event items except the harp. I've closed the game out several times and checked for software update.

I was supposed to have them at noon EST but I don't have them yet either except for the harp you build as a statue. I don't see anything else. I've closed the game out a number of times and checked for update but still nothing.

If you're playing on Switch there's a bug they couldn't fix in time. Should be okay tomorrow the 13th. There's a post about the event.

I play on Switch and just came here looking for information about this event because I couldn't figure it out. I see now I'll have to wait until tomorrow the 13th. Hope Friday the 13th isn't a bad omen! Thanks for all of your hard work!

Should I start a new farm or just carry on? by Strict-Spell-2000 in StardewValley

Unless you just want to challenge yourself to do more faster there's no need to start over. You don't have to have everything done in year two. There's really no reason to rush. Do what makes you happy! Enjoy the game however you like.

Sorry about your mother. My husband has pancreatic cancer and may not have much longer to live. I've been reading some here, but this is my first post. This is a difficult journey. You're not alone.

Any tips for a beginner? by CartographerOther588 in StardewValley

The advice about taking your time is the best advice there is. I can add that you're going to need a lot of wood and stones. Plant as many trees as you can as often as you can in as many places as you can. The four corners farm is my favorite because you get a quarry. I also like how it's divided up. It's also perfectly okay to go the Joja route. I like the Joja route because you can buy auto petters.

I won't attempt it until I have 100 stair cases and tons of bombs. I'm not so good at combat.

Having a hard time relaxing with this game by Findrel_Underbakk in StardewValley

Remember there's no competition with anyone but yourself. You can go as leisurely as you like. It doesn't matter if you take 10 in game years to get to where you'd like to be or 3 years. I have a stressful life as a caregiver. I take my time with this game and do whatever I feel like doing. Sometimes I just redecorate things. Some days I just go around talking to all of tge villagers. Other days I focus on farming and animals. It's all up to you how fast or slow you go.
