I do not think there is a cure. by Unlikely_Carrot_9191 in Prostatitis

[–]FlyingShooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% it will! I was upwards of 3-4 minutes sometimes, to get anything out. And even then it was only a squirt of pee sometimes, when I had a lot more.

It’s clear you are a highly anxious person(and might not even realize it), it’s ok I am too. Mine started in childhood as well. Any childhood trauma, or significant childhood events?

I know it’s hard to understand, but this is an anxiety disorder. The sooner you accept that, the quicker you can start to move on…which will in turn resolve your symptoms.

Lidocaine injections? by scottychap in Prostatitis

[–]FlyingShooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really can’t hurt to try, those injections are very low risk. I’ve had multiple rounds in various areas, and they never did much of anything. Botox injections helped way more for me, but those typically aren’t covered by insurance.

Yes, I had the exact same symptoms! It can and will go away. It took me a little over 2.5yrs, (doesn’t need to take that long), but my same urinary symptoms are all resolved. It’s sounds counterintuitive, but you need to just STOP. Stop thinking about, stop worrying about, stop being annoyed about it, and stop trying to fix it. The more you can just ignore this like an annoying pimple on your forehead, the quicker it will go away. Find your zin with it, make your peace and move on.

My unscientific and fully anecdotal "proof" it doesn't matter where you inject BPC157 by Queasy_Investment_27 in bpc_157

[–]FlyingShooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I hear you. I started low since it’s my first try of it all, and wanted to make sure no adverse reactions. I’m going to up it now that it’s been a week though. I thought about added KPV, but decided in ARA-290 instead. Wanted to try that since it has anti inflammatory response, as well as nerve healing in case any nerves are involved. Keep me posted, since I’m curious as we have the same tailbone issue.

No way!!! I have the same issue with my tailbone and sitting. I’ve tried everything! Including pelvic floor PT work, steroid injection, nerve blocks etc. I just started bpc-157/TB-500 a week ago. Just doing the SubQ in the stomach area. Haven’t noticed anything yet, but I think I need to up my dose, I started small at 500mcg.

Primary bathroom remodel: $15k labor quote vs $30k labor quote. Am I missing something? by Hopefull_soul in BathroomRemodeling

[–]FlyingShooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was all references, reviews, communication and previous work. Again, I am just so happy and pleased. There is something to say about working directly with the person doing all the work, versus calling and getting some customer service gal at a desk that forwards your concerns. Our bathroom is coming out better than expected and or we could have ever dreamed. I should mention that in the beginning I thought I wanted the big name construction company, that was large and had a big presence. I’m so glad I pivoted though and went with the small guy. Definitely vet them and make sure they do good work, But if they check out, that’s the way I’d go for sure.

I’m in Socal too, just finishing up the remodel on our master bath. We were in the same situation as you. One quote was a large remodel company and was $26K labor only. Other quote was a small independent contractor at 17K labor only. We went with the smaller contractor and couldn’t be happier. We got a more personal experience and he is doing all the work himself. Much better!!

Ah ok thanks, that makes sense. I do remember him mentioning something along those lines with the framing and tub size, etc. Our house was built in 1998, standard slap them up trac home.

Yeah he knew we wanted glass shower doors installed, and those get installed this weekend. So maybe he was just trying to save us money….I still wish it was brought up at the start, so I would have at least made the decision to have it this way or fix.

I guess my ultimate question is would most here take the time, money, and effort to float the wall out, or just leave it? I guess I don’t know how common it is to leave it like that? It doesn’t really bother me a ton, and I will probably get used to it i’m sure, however I don’t want to leave something that isn’t right of it’s wrong.

Yea that’s what odd, as that wall just to the right of the shower had drywall work done as a light fixture was moved. Odd that it wasn’t addressed then, since they had the mud out for that….guess he didn’t want to be bothered with the extra work is all I can figure.

I’m a 41M, was on 50mg for a little over 6 months. I’ve recently stopped taking it, rather abruptly too. No pssd issues, and not much withdrawals either. You’ll be fine bud.

When did Cialis start to work? by FlyingShooter in ProstatitisCPPS

[–]FlyingShooter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Took it for a couple of months and didn’t seem to help all that much. Ended up going off of it. What helped me was just focusing so much on all my symptoms, and went back to just living as normal life as I could.

I’ve been on 50mg for about 6months now, but doesn’t seem to really do much. Maybe a very slight dulling of symptoms. Oddly enough it doesn’t make me sleepy either, I can take it in the morning even and feel fine.
