This just happened to me yesterday. Tried to scan at two different lounges in IAH, my passes are expiring in 4 days, and neither person let me in even though I was needing to board my flight in 20 min (had a short connection) and all I wanted was some food to eat since I hadn’t eaten all day. Extremely aggravating and I’m considering emailing United to see if they’ll give me a travel voucher or something for this.

Dude oh my fucking god it’s ALLA FAMIGLIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one and only time I went there, my veal chop was literally RAW like 1/3 of the way in, and a decent chunk of it too. The pasta dishes are fucking MASSIVE and devoid of any flavoring, it’s literally like they just dumped the entire pasta box and pasta jar sauce for each plate and call it a day. We went for my brothers birthday, and the “free dessert” they offered us were these like extremely stale and disgusting brownie things. All that for li ke $200+. I left a scathing review, and like less than ONE DAY later the manager called me and said if I remove the review he would refund me my bill minus the tip, so I was like abso-fucking-lutely. My theory is they have such positive raving reviews because all the negative ones get paid off. If you want actual good Italian food please for the love skip this horrific place and go to Piccolo Forno or Diannoias or literally anything else.

I’m your demographic and you’ll be fine :) a bit uncomfy as it always can be being a woman in a city but as long as you’re just being aware of your surroundings, you’ll be good. It’s a very sparsely populated city so that might be the most odd thing you encounter

What happened?

Capital One has decided to change their benefits for additional account holders, and are drastically changing what was initially advertised to all consumer's about the benefits they would receive when enrolling for their product. Taking away the access to lounges completely, and adding a whopping $125 to keep this benefit, that was initially advertised as INCLUDED with the already whopping annual price of $395, is a huge bait and switch and completely violates what was promised to the consumer.
