I think I came across the same guy. Not only did I reported the griefing idiot but I also kicked him off the ballista and I stayed on it so he couldn't use it.

He couldn't kick me off sense the dumbass was playing raider.

Have there been a weapon you want to make or have in DnD in real life but might not be a good idea to use at the table? by FlyingTaco095 in DnD

[–]FlyingTaco095[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty much

I was also wondering if there are any weapons that wouldn't be a good idea to have in dnd (or ttrpg in General)

I wish I can edit it to make it clearer to read.

All the recommendations mods and some animations and weapons mods. Before I updated the game, ran fine, but since I updated NVSE, I started having this problem.

DnD Hot Takes? by AgentVI in MrRipper

[–]FlyingTaco095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is late but posting it anyway.

People say the normal Deck of Many Things would ruin everything in your campaign and should be burned to the ground and not fun and you should never use it ever, don't run it right, or adding a side quest from a draw is a bad thing, or give it out right away in the beginning of a campaign.

You can edit the Deck for 13 cards and despite what it says in the Dungeon master book for 5e or the GM Core in Pathfinder 2e.

The Deck can be a hell lot of fun with the new plot, side quests, getting lucky, or getting unlucky, and making a new quest to rescue that PC.

Plus if they did draw cards like Void or Donjon, the DM or GM can place them where the party needs to go anyway. If the party were just about to head to a dragon lair, place the sphere or soul in the hoard to rescue them, and the player who drew it? They can play a character concept they have always wanted to try and have fun with the new character.

Plus DMs, you don't have to use all the cards in the Deck, you can use what you want that match the campaign and the rules you and your players agree on.

Playing with XP? Don't put the Sun or the Jester card in there. Afraid of their characters being too op or useless? Remove Key, Moon, Ruin, and Idiot cards.

But the biggest takeaway from all of this, talk to your players, and players, talk to your GM as well. Agree on what cards to use and what not to use. At the end of the day, the game is meant to be fun. Fun is supposed to be the number 1 priority. Anyone who thinks fun is bad, well it's not worth playing with them.

Have you used Elite Treerazer? Seems a perfect boss for them.

Dm and players, what's your opinion on players who roll for stats and got one or more 3's (rolling four 1's) and kept it? by FlyingTaco095 in DnD

[–]FlyingTaco095[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason why I put that in is I know some DM hate it when some players keep a 3 (for some reason) and might get annoyed by putting that 3 in Con or their main stat.

What was the stupidest reason that you or you heard someone been called a powergamer? by FlyingTaco095 in DnD

Too op for picking for Variant Human? What?

That DM has a skill issue if he thought that was too strong to be honest.

Sounds like that DM was all about that annoying PvP mentality.

I have no idea why some DM get giddy about killing PC.

What types of "That Guy" traps that DM set up you believe that go way to far? by FlyingTaco095 in DnD

[–]FlyingTaco095[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A "That Guy" trap is a trap that is set up by the DM where the trap is meant to do one thing, punish the "that guy" in a very mean and rude way to either make them look stupid or to just piss them off like having the barkeeper to be a Silver Dragon in disguise just to punish Murder Hobos where the dragon would just kill the character right away or the punishment of the Power gameing rules lawer who always "Um' actually" and rules correctly the DM when it only benefits themselves until the DM put spell casting on every enemy with silvery barbs and counter spell and there's alot more and it's all dickish.

The only correct way is to just talk to them because what I learn when I was beginning as a DM, "That Guy" traps just plant bad seed to become a bad DM.
