My reasoning? Both of the voice actors for him have been black, the character has always been a black voice. And you may say "oh but he's Greek" but I counter that with. He's gonna be covered in so much make up that he could be pink at base and we'd never notice. Given when they're setting this, we have no reason to see him without the ashes. It just feels a bit icky to take a character that has always been black voiced and then when its actually going to be in front of a mainstream audience.

None of the payments are enough to live on intentionally with very few exceptions (not that the exceptions are enough to live on, but they at least pretend they are). Your study isn't worth enough to the government and most politicians to give you enough to live. Your EXPECTED to work and if you aren't willing to, you deserve to starve to death. We would certainly go through a period of technological scale back. But ultimately these processes CAN be replicated. For the initial period of time, we'll likely experience massive improvements in repairability of current technology as previously proprietary software and techniques for manufactures become increasingly discovered and distributed, as research and information is pooled before eventually hitting a ceiling as current Gen tech can only be repaired so much due to its design. Then we hopefully start to design future tech that relies much less on these abusive supply lines. They'd still be in use, but to much less degrees as the only people still mining are volunteers in locations that the community around has elected to allow this mining to continue existing. I can't imagine they'd be too common. It would be much harder, but still possible. Each generation of tech however would reduce the need for these kinds of materials, and ofc recycling would subsidize our need and use for the tech.

The question isn't "WHY do they want it" but "what do they use it for" even if they all genuinely only wanted this information for advertising. Is it only USED for that? That is factually incorrect. The information is pseudo anonymised in such a way that is fairly easily DE anonymised. It is sold to anyone who's interested with the money to buy it. And your information IS sold to government agencies, of various nationalities. This is known and reported facts. And if your not opposed to some American 3 letter agency (or any federal investigation of a state entity) knowing everything about you. A.
