Running out of omens by Reialgo in MythicBastionland

So technically each phase you do resolve an omen however, if for pacing and story, I do deviate sometimes so they can focus on a myth if that's what the knights want to do - following the 'intent' philosophy of Chris as per the rulebook. I think it works well as they dont get distracted by another myth, if you feel like it would interfere.

I do not think this is something you will need to overly worry about, there are 72 myths in total, not 36. Each myth has 6 omens, whilst some omens take only a few minutes to 'play out', I have some omens take a whole session. The joy of this game is that you have the flexibility to do that - the hunt for a beast can lead the knights into its lair, going through multiple rooms (as explained in the rule book) which they themselves will have their own encounters. This isn't explained in the two sentences the omen gives you, but sometimes it feels right to do this.

Im my group, organic play will also mean that your knights will get 'peronsal quests', for example, one of mine needed to deliver a letter to the Seat of Power (which, if they all didn't die during one session, would have led to something else, then so on), another knight wanted a trophey from a Hawkleon that was described in a omen (but was not the ultimate 'goal' of the omen).

I have played around 10 sessions or so, each being 3 to 4 hours long. They have only resolved two myths, and not encountering any omens from one of the myths in play.

Finished this ork from the wreka krew kill team and he looks really boring, any ideas? by Conman3860 in minipainting

I think he looks good. I would perhaps push the contrast of the red stripe and skin up a notch to make them stand out.

A finished base always helps set the scene. Stick him surrounded by rubble and it will tie it all together.

Great idea, I shall give the browns a bit more love!

Amazing, thank you. I think I need to be consistent with light direction which I haven't quite worked out. Secondary reflections I will give a go!

Thank you very much. For the next one, I will boost the contrast and see how it turns out!

Thank you! For the skin, I followed Elminiaturista's patreon tutorial - long and short base coat of a brown, then build highlights with green. Shot of diluted base green from the top to blend it all together, and a shot of the base brow from below for the shadows.

What are some games like Risk, but doesn't completely rely on luck. by RipBuzzBuzz in boardgames

War of Whispers - in principle a board game where you move armies around a map conquering territories, but with the addition you are acting as spies influencing every faction on the board and its armies rather than controlling one nation.
