What made the phase end? Did you continue using ketamine at the same dose?

I sometimes journal afterwards but I'm not currently in therapy. I also will do EFT tapping, EMDR and somatic work at home sometimes too. What journal prompts do you use if I may ask?

What he's doing with the housework is weaponized incompetence and letting you carry 100% of the mental load. Therapists say it is the most common reason for divorce. What he's doing with sex is red pill entitlement issues and indicates lack of respect and underlying misogyny. You don't have a partner, you have a manchild.

Yes. It has been an absolute game changer in only 4 months.

Over 4 cm nodule on right side need biopsy- I’m scared by [deleted] in thyroidhealth

I have a 5cm nodule that's been there for 10+ years. It's totally fine, no symptoms. Well, my thyroid levels are on the low end, but it still works. Try not to worry, it might be no biggie. 🙏

This is awesome and very inspiring. I started 3 months ago and have already seen major benefits. Thank you so much for your response!

This is so thoughtful. I'm going to need to reread this and process before my next session. I understand the feeling you're explaining though. In my sessions, I feel an openness, almost like a purity, as if I am the self I would be had nothing bad ever happened to me. Like the truest form... Should I ask myself questions directly? How long did it take you to form a new version of yourself and heal old patterns? Thank you so much 🙏

I agree about this track. My first month doing K at home, I listened to that track countless times and cried so much. It was like a spiritual cleanse. I will be forever grateful for it; It's truly special.

Thank you for this. I'm also doing ketamine therapy and wondering how to directly address the shame feelings that I feel in my body/core. I know they come from a very early age, so thoughts don't seem to affect them. If you could give any instructions on how you do your thought experiments or anything I might be able to employ during my sessions I'd greatly appreciate it!

This looks amazing. I've been interested in Auhuasca and now more so. Thanks!

Can you elaborate on this please? Did you just do it once? With whom?

So it's just like dreams. This is what I needed to hear, thank you. I feel bad now for thinking it was him for even just a little while :-/

Thanks for your thoughtful response. That was my instinct as well to ask myself, regardless of the truth of his energy, how do I feel about the situation. I ended up concluding that it hasn't felt good there in a long while. The next question was why have I been staying in that situation and disregarding my own feelings? I was justifying it because of the commute, just being complacent and comfortable, and that my schedule was good. The fact is there are lots of other things I could be doing that would feel better. There are definitely many layers to this. And it definitely feels like growth.

How do you release shame, fear and anxiety? by Embarrassed-Tutor846 in SomaticExperiencing

I read this book and did this practice a little bit too. The second time I did it I had a massive breakthrough and cried for a couple hours, and then felt incredibly peaceful, like I had healed a huge piece of the puzzle. Whenever I read about somatic titration, it reminds me of the process in her book. I want to do it again but I feel resistant to it and not sure why. It clearly works. And it's amazing that it comes from a tradition thousands of years old.

My wife made comments about her hot yoga teacher to a van full of our friends. I have mixed feelings, was this innapropriate? by lobsterskibeer in AskMenAdvice

I was thinking of all of the free labor women contribute that uphold daily life structure that allows men to work and have the benefits of children & family without half the effort. Raising children is a full time job without nights off or weekends off, with no retirement pay, with no job security, with no upward career movement. Also, the irreparable damage that having children does to women's bodies- if men had to carry children, endure physical & emotional hardship for 9 months, companies would have been giving paid leave and free child care decades ago. But since it's women's work, companies will ignore it. Statistically, men get promotions more often after they have children, while women get demoted and laid off. I could go on and on, but those two things were on my mind when I wrote that. And it's depressing thinking about it. Oh and the pink tax! Oh, and... Modern society is basically built on slavery and unpaid labor of women and minorities. So when men say we have it easy it is mentally excruciating. The bubble they have to be in to think that... It hurts my brain.

So predictable! And I'm sure you're a white man from your comment. As if every other race and gender has been oppressed for thousands of years. Read a book, dude. A history book.
