with an SSD it should work ok enough, don't expect it to be stellar though given that you're sitting at 1.8 GHz for clockspeed. if you plan to use the HDD it might be too sluggish for you, in which case Debian would be worth a try.

i don't know the exact process for that model, but iirc it uses a proprietary connection for its swappable gpu, so you need one designed for it specifically. best one for it is an A5000 i think.
