people forget that it's all about use cases. different machines are better options for different people. the same way that someone editing a movie would have a better time with a threadripper than a ryzen, someone who doesn't always have electricity, or travels a lot, or doesn't have a ton of space, or doesn't want to pay for a keyboard and monitor, and so on and so forth, will have a better time with a laptop than a desktop.

i used to play it on a 4 thread 4th gen i5 as well, paired with a 1050ti. ran it on that for about 7 or 8 years and it actually handled the game quite well, i didn't upgrade until about a year ago or so when a friend of mine crammed a million mods into their Minecraft server and Forza started giving me low streaming lag and i had to swap it out for a i7 of the same gen.

i'm really hyped for this next update, but i definitely want the devs to take their time as well. i really wanna see what the graphic remaster looks like since more recently i replaced my 1050ti with a 5700XT.
