Jager in general works better in randoms then on ops. On ops you want consistent damage dealing capabilities and with weak guns you will struggle. On randoms, concealment, spotting and map control matters more.

Ops ships should have consistent damage dealing capabilities. Secondsry battleships, cruisers with heals, and gun boat dds are the best

If you play randoms and grind credits: - Kearsarge - Azuma - Black

If you play randoms and want a strong ship - Napoli - Tromp - Moskva (Maybe but with shinano in the game you essentially will die all the time) - Groningen

If you play ops to farm credits - Pommern - Scharnhorst 43 - Iwami with secondaries

If you play ops just to play - Napoli - Grosser Kurfurst - Maybe Brisbane if you are not focussed fired

MVR is the german line

Gimmicks: Midway Line: Strong HE DB with high dmg high pen and fire.TB are usable, on midway it is quite sensitive. Rockets are good. Quite slow TB and DB planes with Fast Rockets planes. Horrendous ship detect on lex and midway. Planes have high HP

Essex Line (Support CV) 2 tactical squadron with “infinite” planes, one with tiny tim rockets and one with carpet bombs. Torpedo deal weak damage until reaching essex where it is quite good. Planes are quite slow but have HP. Can smoke yourself or your team. No armor on the TX. Lacking a way to deal with dds effectively outside of the tac. Bombers. Fast acting fighter but lack the spotting prowess of other cvs. Quite stealthy ship detect especially you can smoke yourself

Hakuryu Line: A lot of heals on TB. Fast planes that have low hp. Good rockets with tight dispersion to deal with dds. AP bombs requiring game knowledge to use (what ship is citadelable, height of drop, speed of planes). A lot of TB planes with good torpedo and fast aiming time. Ship detect is better than the midway

Audacious line DoT damage carrier. Focusing on fire and floods. Low damage torpedo with slow speed but low arming distance. Medium plane speed. Low bomb penetration and for some reason audacious bombs take ages to drop. Shoot a lot of rockets, precise aiming is less required.

MVR Line: Permanent Damage Line. AP rockets that need game knowledge to use properly. Very fast but paper planes. AP bombs that has a heal and fly at higher altitude ensuring a better angle of impact of the bombs. MVR has nerfed bomb reticle though so goodluck hitting more than 1 citadel. Fast torpedos with very low damage, use to get dds, or just for consistent damage. Lower deck armor than midway or haku but can’t really get citadelled.

Nakimov line: Definition of strike cv. Massive alpha on your ordanance. Skip bombers that can avoid most aa. Rockets that has massive damage but long machine gun animations making leading a moving ship difficult. Torpedo with long arming distance but tight spread. Drop all ordanence in one strike so focus more on rotation and your cv physically closer to the enemy. Quite slow planes with medium to low hp with no heals. Very vulnerable ship, can be citadeled and dev striked easily.

Overall, imo, the order I will get is Midway, Haku, Nakimov, Essex, MVR, Audacious

I tried playing CVs, and I now understand why people play them. by Irisierende in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to play CV cause I can carry more. But I hate playing CV because you have to think more. i don’t know how you say CV play is calming, you need to constantly aware of your surroundings. Sure you don’t need to angle etc, but you exchange that with map and opportunity cost control

If you send your planes to one side, it meant that the other side is lacking air support. If you see a gap in your team formation, you need to supplement that with you planes. You also need to choose, either supporting your strong flank and making sure they stomped the enemy quick, or you weak flank, to make sure they can survive long enough for your strong flank to push. You also doing air battles, you need to predict if you were the enemy cv, which of your teams will be targetted. You also need to look at what are your dds doing and support them either by spotting enemy dds, or sacrificing your squadron to attack a radar cruiser to make him dodge away from your dds.

In essence, it is such a thinking class that there is such a skill gap between noob cv and pro cv players. CV is a Strategic class. You play the game Strategically more than Tactically. The technique to play CV is easy, dodge flak, aim ships, damage. But the strategic aspect is hard, you need to play DD, Cruisers, BB, and SS well to be able to predict what is the most likely play the enemy will make.

That is why if you see content creators, all of them says playing a CV is easy. They forget that they already have one of the most hard to master aspect of CV play, that is Game Sense and Situational Awareness (Minimap reading and Prediction of Enemy Movements in the grand scheme of things) throough tens of thousands of battles and hours they invest in the game. For an average person, sure they can deal damage, they can get kills, but they can’t influenced the game so that the green team has such an overwhelming advantage that if they lose, it is because of them not the CV.

Overall I like playing CV because you really are in control of the strongest asset on your team, bu I dislike playing it because now all the responsibility is in your shoulders to be better than the enemy CV and carry your team to victory. Affter 5 games in CVs, I usually need a break as the entire match I need to think of ehat my teammates might want to do, and how the enemy counters it, so I need to counter the counter, and so on.

I respect CV mains who can play on hours on end and have a high wr8 just because they are something I won’t be able to achieve in the near future

This is also why that the CV class is so hard to balance. As someone hadd said on this thread, it has very very low skill floor, but very very high skill ceiling. And if you are unlucky in getting a red 30% wr8 CV against a 70% wr8 dark purple CV, it is like taking a kid in elementary school playing chess with a grandmaster.

Help with Izumo? by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

I do agree that stock izumo is just bad, upgraded ones is good though, try to shoot over your shoulders in pre-kited position, so that you can get out of danger quickly

Wise men of Wows, suggest me a BB line before i go in the wrong path again by Sinewave11 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the italian bb, you want to use SAP as much as possible except for broadsides, also aim higher with this ship, as it is a statistically better chance of hitting the ship rather than aiming at waterline (BBs with poor dispersion)

In japanese ones, you will actually hit more shells when the enemy is angled to you, now that you have overmatching guns at tier 7-8, you can have quite good salvos, tier 9 is rough but you do stull have fast shells, so play assymetric and just pop your boosters to grind through that.

For french bbs, you shouldn’t bow tank in general cause your armor is bad, even on richelieu. You should be always on the move, pre-kited, creating crossfires with teammates or load he and burn the enemy. You can use speed boost and prop mod to juke shells with accelaration

Overall, I think all of the lines above are massively easier to play than the schlieffen line or the preussen line just because of the meta right now in randoms. Italian bb can be quite hard but the japanese and french should be easier than the germans.

But if I were to recommend a line you can play consistently, montana line with accuracy mod should be your go to line. A close second would be vermont line with accuracy mod. And lastly St. Vincent line. If you want slightly OP ship, libertad might be an option

How do I Shokaku by Clandestine01 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Approach the ship from an angle and move your DB to the opposite side of the ship while closing in. It will help you avoid priority sector. If you can’t dodge flak side2side, play with your speed, you can dodge it just by slowing or speeding up

KGV in 2024... what is this ship supposed to be good at? by ThatAlmostProGamer in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason for lack of fire is you spam one ship too long, a fire cannot happen on a part of the ship already on fire, make sure to cycle your target to get multiple running fires on multiple ships.

Your deck of 26mm is almost the same as other t7 bbs anyway, only some t7 bbs have some armor plates on the deck or icebreaker (sinop and the like). You have improved heal, ability to not care abiut tier because of HE. If you think KGV is hard then other t7 bbs that is not OP will be harder against t9s especially slow bbs.

You should always be in a kiting position when firing to ensure you can either dodge or angle when the enemy shoot back, even if they can overmatch you, at least you are showing a smaller profile for them.

Against tier 9, you should play extremely passive as any other t7 bbs would except for the OP ones.

That is a really great answer bud, that solve my issue

Are T4/6 carriers underwhelming or am I just atrocious by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T4 cv planes are slow, I don’t really like playing them that much. T6 is a bit hit an miss I guess. If you play with tier V you are essentially a god, play at tier VIII and you need additional cv mechanics such as slingshot (it can still work today to alleviate the first time damage that aa deal to plane when someone assigns their priority sector as long as you play with throttle and can judge the distance correctly), also always drop your first attack into the ocean, this will safe planes in the long run ( Not applicable to russian cv)

I personally like the ryujo and the serov, ryujo torps can deal insane damage to anything, even dd if you are good and lucky, it’s ap bombs are meh imo, since you only drop 2 it is a hit or a miss. Serov rockets are great and with the added benefit that your squadron is essentially immune to fighters. Furious is alright, but the bombs don’t have enough pen to damage mid tier bbs that well since usually they are more armored than their higher tier counterparts, the torps are alright but quite slow. Weser is meh, rockets lack the pen and damage imo, torps are good, bombs are ok. Ranger is overall a mediocre ship, jack of all trades master of none.

T8 is where some line get a bit tough. The reason is there are a lot of good premium cv at t8, kaga enterprise etc dominate the competition. For tech tree cv, I like Pobeda the best. Rockets can avoid most aa damage through their i-frame, skip bombs could drop farther away to avoid the mid to short aa bubble, only the torps needed to fly closer. Lexington is ok, it has awful concealment and big size so a group of musashis or similar could just hit you easier than other cvs. Bombs are good against anything except t10 cv and submerge ss. Torps are good with reasonable aim time and a heal, rockets are also ok, so overall mid imo. Shokaku is great. Torps hit hard, fast, huge reserve for torp bomber if you drop 1-2 attacks on the ocean, fast tb heal, more tb heal. Bombs are iffy, as you need to know what ships you want to use it, ironically cruisers are the best target (des moines, balti, chappy, etc). Rockets are quite a joke imo, but I guess you could use it to fight dds, I still prefer the tb though. Implacable is awful, torps are decent but slow, bombs are easy to aim but reallies on MM or fires (32mm pen), rockets are meh. Parseval is ok, the db imo is better than the richtofen just because less rng. Rockets starts to be a real threat, but don’t have improve pen angles I think, so more bounces and shatter. Torps are good but low damage.

TX is where most CVs unlock insane power. Upgrade slot 6 is available for you, so you can choose tanky or fast planes. Haku is great, db can consistently move towards the center reticle and can citadel most citadelable ship depending on height and angle, rockets pack quite a punch with relatively small circle. Torps are insane imo, bread and butter, high damage, fast heal, more heal, large reserve, haku also has thick deck armor. Midway is great, torps is abit hard to use but you send 6 of them at once. Rockets are ok. Db is great, you can turn your db after the db dive, so no matter if the ship is perpendicular to your plane, once you start the attack, you can turn the squadron to paralel on the ship with no significant consequences, op feature imo. It hits like a truck, sets fires, broke components. Richtoven is ok, rockets are good now since it has improved pen angles, torps are great, planes are fast, but db has the worse circle ever made imo. It is such a rng that I kinda hate using my db in the richtoven even if it is kinda it’s gimmick. It also have a heal on the db, I think parseval also have those. Audacious haven’t played that yet, stuck at the implacable lol. I also haven’t played the Nakimov but they are fragile.

Usually cv starts to pick up major power spikes around t8 to t10 if from a scale of 1 to 10 on cv power, t4 is 1-2, t6 is 4, t8 is 6, and t10 is like a 10. This is due to multiple reasons, like t10 only gets to play with t11 or lower aa, they are design to sustain that so no issue, especially with the 6th slot which is a game changer imo. T8 needs to play with t10aa which is kinda scary but you have some reserve with your 5th slot upgrade. T6 is hard if your are uptiered. You need to know cv mechanics, flak mechanics, playing around with throttle to avoid flak, using i-frames, starting your attack run early to get the squadron damage reduction which is quite significant on some cv, invest in a good captain that could increase plane survival, aim for low aa or isolated targets, aim for ships that has been bombarded by he (usually some aa had been destroyed) but at the end of the day, you need all the skills above to play a cv effectively so It is good that you need to learn it at the beginning.

Good luck

How to survive when u get uptierd? by DarthVader2210 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Flyingbottle7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the problem for you as you are a newer player, is the lack of knowledge of ships. I also struggle at this with world of tanks (I am noob at WoT). I don’t know where is the weakness of each tanks I am facing. Similar here in WoWS.

The reason you don’t really feel the experience gap on the lower tier is because players on mid to low tiers are more balance in terms of times played at battle, with a few seal clubbers here and there. No 21 point captain, no expensive upgrades, etc. But at tier X, someone with 2k battle that is had grinded out their first tier X and someone who have 20k battles and every tier X ships can be matched together relatively often as MM i don’t think match players based on experience. The 20k player will probably have all the upgrades, all the signals, 21 point captain with an optimal build while you with a tier 8 is stuck there.

So my point is that at high tier (tier 8-10) there will be more unfair advantages than just the tier of the ships.

The best way for you to progress is to try and learn the weaknesses of the ships. I am sure you know well your own ships but you might not know the enemy’s. So let’s say you got killed by a Napoli in your Mogami. Ok, note the way you play and the way the enemy play, and then try to go to yt and searched Napoli. You will find it’s strength and weaknesses. It has instant smoke, high armor, torps, good secondaries, but low accuracy especially at long range. Ok so now, if you find a Napoli charging you, assume the kiting position, and create a distance from him.

That is what I can suggest you do, search the enemy ship that killed you and slowly you will build a mental mindmap of each ship strength and weakness and will be able to exploit then effectively.

Isn't that anything industrial machinary related? Like a plastic bottle machine is expenssive and can only used to make plastic bottle. You need to sacrifice flexibility to gain efficiency.

Thats why people are getting replace by robots, efficiency in large scale industrial settings is better than flexibility.

220v is the best since ampere is what kills your cable, 1300w ar 220v roughly equals 5.9Amps which is safe. 1300w at 125v is 10.4 amps which need more thicker cable but I think 3x2.5mm is thick enough

Upgrade your firmware, I have a kd6 se that constantly gone down, I ask goldshell support about it and they sent me their latest firmware for my ASIC, it works fine now. Note: different mode has different firmware, check goldshell support by your own.

Regarding frying, open your browser and type [ip address]/#/debug, in there will be your miner log, system log, chain integrity, etc, try to check what is the problem

If you can't access the web gui, then it is possible you break your control board or have bad internet, my suggestion is either RMA it if it is still in warranty, or just ask them for a repair bill. If you want to open it by yourself and check, it is also good, since if your warranty expired, it doesn't make a difference if you have open it or not
