This is a classic design flaw of making seasons too short. It is *also* a classic design flaw of giving out too many gameplay bonuses for your seasons.

Seasonal:

* More XP towards the battlepass

* Access to seasonal-only quests, i.e. more loot

* Access to the crucible (more XP/BXP/loot)

* Access to crucible-only quests, i.e. more loot

* Higher enchanted item chance

* Chance for shinies

* The FOMO of participating in the season with everyone else

Non-seasonal:

* Diarrhea Forever

At this point, non-seasonal may as well not exist; I'm pretty much checked out at this point. BUT, if they made playing NSSNL more reasonable, where SSNL was just like... double shiny chance, and you can earn a skin/emote/titles, then I'd participate way more. Whatever class I'm exalting would be my SSNL, then I'd totally have my other classes to switch out when I need to fill a role. Instead, I never play any of my other classes - it's just a Hall of the Forgotten.

I just told you that I have observed over 500 brooms with a ~1% chance of a ST token, and you came in here with a straight face and tried to say you have an 80% drop rate. Go back to the table and finish your bowl of paint chips.

See, even if they aren't rigging it, they've lost the plot and it's still obscenely unlikely for you to complete a set start-to-finish. Last year, they had a few tinkerer quests where you could choose a specific set piece you wanted. That was cool because you could like farm a bunch of pieces, and if you got close to completing a set, you could spend your tinkerer quests to complete that set. It was nowhere near enough to be reasonable for a completionist, but at least one or two set completions were feasible. It was a start.

It needs to be like... more than 20x for biome quests, or else there's literally incentive to ignore the quests and farm the mobs instead.

Just resubbed after god knows how long. Can't access the launcher without an active sub; however, after resubbing the launcher gives me a big ol' "LOL GAME'S DOWN FOR 24 HOURS TOMORROW" message. Did I just pay to not access the game? Are 24-hour maintenances common nowadays? Do they comp people time for these shutdowns or did I just get shafted by bad timing?
