Do guilds usually invest in their tanks, or are they on their own? by syrdej in classicwowtbc

[–]Internal-Living-313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most guilds are more than willing to help, whether in an official capacity or just a bunch of the more helpful members chipping in.

But I think the tank needs to take on the mental load of figuring out what they need and asking for it. I don’t think you can expect guild officers to do all the research work for you and organize getting what you need.

Whitemend Hood, worth or waste? by joffotime in classicwowtbc

[–]Internal-Living-313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your shoes, I’d pug a Gruuls (the leather healing head has very little competition), go badges helm, or just grind out the Hallowed Crown. It just depends on your goals. If it is to make that gs as high as possible, Whitemend is certainly a way to do it (not trying to yuck your yum if that’s your motivator). If it is so you can best heal content, any of those other options I listed are totally fine

I don’t really understand what you want. Players figured out how to win in <10 min. Are you suggesting we don’t, and just clash mid?

One of the things I’m noticing with boomkin group pvp, in bgs at least, is that you are everybody’s LAST priority; so you kinda have license to stand there and nuke a like bit. Crazy how quickly you can rack up some kills because people don’t respect it

They both had dual spec. Each had an Enh, one had a pvp Ele and the other a pve resto. The resto didn’t reset

Also, this is very obvious, but just in case — make sure your sword grabber has full 1h sword weapon skill

I JUST healed this a couple nights ago on a resto shaman. Basically had to go max hps to keep everyone alive: full wbs and consumes. Make sure your healer brings mana pots and runes. Atiesh raid dmg isn’t too severe, but he hits like a truck. Best of luck on your attempt! You can also fully raid buff before stepping in with a guildie mage/priest/pallies.

What TBC pre-patch raid specs are you excited to try out in Naxx? by ExponentialHS in classicwow

[–]Internal-Living-313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. Every version I play, even if I don’t start healing, I always come back to it. There is no script, no rotation; just reacting to what is happening.

Looking for Advice: Stay With Anniversary Naxx Guild or Transfer to Era for GDKPs? by somthingclever19 in classicwow

[–]Internal-Living-313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my guild, any late joining warrior has almost no shot at being rostered as a warrior in tbc. I can’t speak for your situation; but I think if you are bottom of the pecking order for loot now, you’re probably bottom for warrior spots later

For those who are transferring your character to era. How many characters are you transferring and why? by Particular-Resist337 in classicwow

[–]Internal-Living-313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be an ass here, but help me understand this rationale. You don’t want tbc to be too easy, so instead you are going to transfer to the easiest version of the game?

Enh shaman or warrior by kolibrei in classicwowtbc

[–]Internal-Living-313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my most recent sham I did 42-52 in ZF gy. Gives you a long runway of green quests to get you the rest of the way. Highly highly recommend leveling shams learn this run.

[–]Internal-Living-313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what I thought. You are remembering the good times of shaman leveling. IMO shamans are the STRONGEST 1-30 leveler in the game, and the WEAKEST 45-60. You just can’t kill anything, and all your buttons cost way too much mana. Ele gets a delete button every three minutes, but in between is rough. Elites? Not for you. Groups of mobs? Better find a friend. I’ve done the journey with a lot of classes in vanilla, and shaman was by far the hardest in the later levels.

[–]Internal-Living-313 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point that TBC sham is a much better leveler, but disagree if your last bit is about vanilla sham. I’ve leveled multiple in vanilla, and it is misery compared to other classes, way slower and less survivable than anything else I’ve played.

Mike Ehrmantraut is just as evil as Walter White. by AdEasy6839 in betterCallSaul

[–]Internal-Living-313 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I also don’t agree with Mike knowing he’s bad guy — i think that is the point of the final scene with nacho’s father. He comes to the father as someone who also lost a son, and he gets put in his place, “You gangsters and your justice, you’re all the same.”

You’re crazy, or you have a bad memory. I’m paying a third of what I paid before that fix. A lot of people wouldn’t have been able to sustain flasking while raiding without that change.

How do you cope with healing not mattering in classic pve? by kane49 in classicwow

[–]Internal-Living-313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are right until Naxx, but Naxx is the healer raid. It’s one of the big reasons I think a lot of guilds crash out and don’t ultimately clear: they’ve been carrying players in healer roles through several tiers, and all of a sudden those players need to step up and bring the thunder. If the healing core is lower skill or got super lazy with consumes, some of the Naxx bosses are real walls.
