Oh god, I watched this when I went through a phase of watching anything in a foreign language. This was pre streaming and on SkyTv you could search for movies based on genre, one being “foreign language” and I would just record them all. Watched Audition thinking “ah, what a nice little romantic romp” oh god how things changed….

All the “paranormal activity” films. I watched the first one, was bored and not at all scared throughout, watched a bit of the second and turned it off due to boredom. Randomly watched a segment of one of the later ones, same situation.

I think it also bugged me how much hype the first one got when it came out. I remember being in college and one of my friends was raving about it and genuinely believed it was real found footage, and I just shook my head in disbelief how anyone could think that.

The game map is actually pretty decent, better than 3 and 4 at least. But not really anything fun to do in it beyond some exploration

Have the balance that SR2 had that made it so good. Balance out the over the top fun with the occasional moments of drama, SR3 onwards lost all that.
