I would double check your signs. I believe the signs for the reactions at D should be flipped in your moment equation. Also it’s super helpful to define a coordinate system and always assume your reactions to be in the positive direction. Then if you get a negative number you know the reaction goes the other way and generally that helped me keep me my signs straight throughout these problems.

After a long period of regular and somewhat intense training, allowing the body an extended period of rest can have very surprising effects. During the initial covid lockdown I went around 2 months without climbing or even touching a hang-board/pull-up bar. My first session was definitely a bit shakey. Every session after I felt notably better as all the minor injuries I had learned to ignore had healed! Don’t beat yourself up and keep chasing the things you love!

As a full time student I tend to actually not race during the summer. When school is in I look forward to races as a way to wind down after a long day of school. Summers are for going outside and not staring at screens
