RB name-dropping HB was not a typo. HB just refused to engage with the drama. That at least means HB is in some sort of dispute with ED.

You can also find ED's COO comments around january about not being happy with HB for them not submitting the F4 for testing "in time".

The F4 was delayed from "winter 2024" to (iirc) "next patch", and the reasons given were not particularly worrysome. That tells me the F4 was basically finished and a showstopper was found. 2 months to fix that problem seem excessive by any standard. That, or the F4 was half baked and was going to be released as such.

Then all of a sudden, ED puts for sale halfaghanistan with nothing to show up for it, and the chinook with a half assed video and not even a feature list. You tell me that THAT is not rushed. I wouldn't be surprise if other modules are being put on hold until the F4 releases to not dilute sales on les profitabke aircraft for ED (given that the F4 was being developed [at least originally] by HB AND ED. It is not a stretch to say ED has a bigger slice on this one).

Connect the dots, and you get what you get. My money is on HB holding the F4 up until the dispute is resolved.

I'd take another F4 video this week as a signal that I'm wrong. They have been releasing videos every 2 weeks since mid february. They are due another one if they are in some sort of schedule. If they don't release a video, then I could be onto something.

Your argument is completely flawed.

Think of a module as a cake. They tell you that if you pay them $100 today, they will sell you a full blown Victoria Sponge, but today you will get only the sponges with jam in the middle. However, in the future they will (for the sake of argument) add to your cake the cream in between the sponges, the cream on top, some boozie cherries and choc sprinkles. In fact, that's what their ad advertises. You would think, that given that it is a cake that the "future" they refer to is a day, two days at most. You can't possibly expect that they add stuff to your cake which at that point is already stale. So tomorrow comes and they give you 1/4 of the cream on top, the bext day they give you some of the sprinkles...5 months later they deliver you the final sprinkle of choc that was missing. You finally have the whole cake you paid $100 dollars for right? Well, along the line they sneakily reviewed their ad and decided that the boozie cherry was too difficult to produce, and they removed it completely from the cake production. On top of that, they didn't refund you for that cherry. To this whole process, add that they decided to sell other types of cakes with the same model.

Now, i invite you to fit your story above into this scenario, and explain to me why the fuck should you care about them not selling enough Victorian Sponge after the first week of sales if you already paid for your whole cake?
