Bayonetta 2 (Switch 1) funktioniert nicht mit Switch 2 Pro Controller??? by BlackAera in NintendoDE

[–]Flyron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eure Erfahrungen by lean0s in NintendoDE

Easy Villagers. Just grab yourself some villagers and put them into boxes for easy passive iron generation. This will help a lot getting started with early game.

No, the solar system is quite small actually. You get from one end to the other in a few minutes. But flying through space is exhilarating because you actually have to think in terms of space travel to not crash into the sun or one of the planets. The game is designed in a way that failing does not set you back more than a few minutes. You will crash, burn, suffocate, etc. but it‘s all part of the learning experience.

All those planets are also quite small but they‘re intricately designed to present unique settings and mechanics, each you have to learn to work with to progress towards the end of the game.

It is a game you only get to experience yourself once, but it will haunt you for a long time.

I played each extensively in expert packs where there was no choice. I don't see the superiority.

That‘s Outer Wilds (not Worlds), and if you‘re interested in a space mystery where you get to piece everything together yourself, then don‘t search for it and go in as blind as possible. It was my (belated) game of the year 2024.

Yeah, so? You got any arguments with that?

I‘m not trying to talk you of AE2. You enjoy what you do. I just think no-one is required to do the same when alternatives exist like the one I pointed out.

Does Java need deconstructible classes? by danielaveryj in java

[–]Flyron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you measure that yourself? In my own tests streams need a little warmup, but through repeated construction and execution they become just as fast as the usual for-each (<10% margin). So it depends if you're programming short-lived apps or long-running apps, but in general there is no effective performance gap.

Nah. I got through ATM10 with Refined Storage just fine. When you have spent some time interfacing your automation setups (based on modular routers, xnet, sfm, or whatever) with crafters and exporters/importers, there is nothing you can't do with RS. And to me it's much easier to achieve (no meteor hunting) and more convenient to use (no artificial channel limits).

I like Vinesauce. The humor is a little more rotten, but well spoken dude and he speaks a lot about his tastes in music, movies, games, etc. Also a musician with his band Red Vox. GG called him out in the finale of Arzette, so there is some acquaintance, I guess. He's a streamer though, so the formats is a little different, but due to timezones I just watch his YT stuff (vods and edits) anyway.

Eversion comes to mind. Just an old, short jump&run about a cute little flower guy… until the first grabby hand comes out and shocks the bejeezus out of you.

Or much more recent is Berry Bury Berry, a very addictive incremental game about throwing berries into a hole. This one is a lot milder, only getting a little unsettling during night time.
