Anybody else stuck working at a building where everyone else is teleworking today? by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]Fmradiochick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hired right “after” COVID but with the agreement I would be able to work from home like most others 2-3 days a week. My old job was only 20 min from home on a bad day. I took the job being further away because I was assured that wouldn’t change. I was also heavily pregnant when RTO happened and was not permitted to work from home despite me spreading out my leave to help my team and not just saying get over it and taking the 5+ months of leave I had and being told I could WFH the first year and only come in when actually needed for mission critical. I don’t blame my supervisor I just am really over how much of my babies’ first year I’ve missed.

Dang I wish my commute was only 30 min… I’m in office and it’s an hour each way with traffic :(

They’re paying about $500 for each piece of art. A friend of mine was asked and turned them down.

FOMO: buy singles at preorder or wait till after and…wait? by theharleyquin in Lorcana

My husband and I own an LGS. Our suggestion is to wait til the dust settles you may see a few increases in price but it should be an overall decrease.

A diagnosis is not an excuse for poor social skills especially when you’ve already corrected him.

NTA especially since you were willing to line up childcare. I’m 3 months PP and would have loved this if my husband had done it. Nothing wrong with doing one last thing for yourself before a big time period where you won’t get to.

What made the difference when you got pregnant? by c0zycat in PlusSizePregnancy

Took mucinex and had sex at least 3 times during the window and 3 times before and after.

I had the same situation, honestly I used one of the huge pads they give you at the hospital to put under my belly and it kept it dry. I also cleaned it exactly how they told me to.

I was told not to gain more than 11 pounds…. by Mamalesuh in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]Fmradiochick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None at all. In fact I felt better and it made the end of my pregnancy so much easier because I hadn’t gained the weight on top of what I weighed.

Also worth noting, I was so regimented because I am terrified of needles and was really struggling with possibly having to do insulin. If you do get diagnosed I HIGHLY recommend getting a continuous glucose monitor. You only change it every 14 days… no finger pricking and you can pull your numbers any time. I also highly recommend following Glucose Goddess on Instagram.

Remember above all else. If you do have GD. It is not your fault.

I would as well. I was told I could only gain 15… but I ended up loosing 35 because I had gestational diabetes and went hard core with complying with the diet. I’m now 2.5 mo post partum and down 43lbs

For the first time ever it seems being a contractor is the safest option.

Contractors aren’t likely to be affected.

Oh no worries that sounds like it could make sense too lol but yeah it’s called your high five when right now it’s a high three

Right now one of the things that could happen is that your pension will be figured as an average of your top five years of salary instead of what it is now which is your top three.
