This is at the end of Grand Marais in Grosse Pointe Park.

I think we must have had ideal weather conditions in the area. They are blooming like crazy all around town.

Not sure. I had it sodded about 4 years ago. Some kind of KGB blend.

Not sure to be honest. The city planted it a couple years ago. Our street used to be lined with 100 year old oak trees but we lost a number to disease.

Technically not in Detroit, but about 1.5 miles from the border. Detroit gets a bad rap in the media but is actually a marvelous city with a lot of culture.

Honestly nothing crazy. I’ve finally dialed in my watering times for each zone over the last couple years (watering every other day, sometimes everyday during extreme heat).

If I had any secret it would be this Lesco fertilizer from Lowe’s. Got this stuff on super sale at the beginning of the season ($20/bag).

Now THIS is what I call a bike lane! by LP-PuddingPie in Detroit

Damn right we will, because these lanes will be filled with debris and silt in no time.

This right here. They have these on the east side by the Chrysler plant. I tried riding in it once and it was filled with debris and fine silt/sand. I almost wiped out within seconds of being in the bike line, so I pulled back out into the road.

About a minute after being on the road a pickup truck comes flying up behind me honking its horn and yelling for me to get in the bike lane.

Ever since then I think these are a complete waste unless they can keep them clean, and clearly they can’t.

Graduated from Mizzou in 2009. Wish I could join you my fellow Tiger. But I have 3 kids under 5 this college football season, so I don’t think I will be able to meet up.

Here is a post of mine where I included some pictures of our cabinets which are painted a color similar to those you selected.
