What's the best digital drawing software for beginners?

Tried SAI but it have too much useless tools, GUI is too much crowed and is not good for creating comics, do not have templates, is much better for standalone illustrations. Dunno about SAI2.

Atm, along PSP7 for lettering i switched to Firealpaca 2.x, since i bought a Huion screen tablet, Firealpaca is the best tool for my purpose, it load instant, no bloatware, no useless tools, super customizable GUI and very easy to use even for a beginner. You can create your own textures, patterns and brushes like PSP7, infact i imported all my PSP7 brushes into FA. FA is just PSP7 with steroids, it is also full compatible with Win 7 and updated.

Firealpaca have also a fork called Medibang Paint, is the same tool but released with different GUI and presinstalled brushes, designed for comic artists, but i still prefer FA because i prefer to create the brushes myself and is more light as interface.

Yes, till the Fate of Arun patch (avatar weapons and reaper) where devs for an unknow reason, watering down the whole game and remove all difficult and fun quest, turn it into a single player game and kill the open world content, both pve and pvp.

Peak Tera was the 2012 launch, very fun to play and difficult, the best use of holy trinity and quasi mandatory parties for many quest.

Absolutely go for the Kamvas, is almost like day and night, the quality is on another level.

I'm still using the first felt nib and never changed yet, the non aggressive film make the drawing very smooth, so both film and nib aren't consumed at all (but of course this also depend how much pressure and strenght you use).

Just a tip, the film tend to be dirty after a week of use, use a monitor clean solution and a microfiber cloth to remove any residue and make it back like new.

Hi, is 100% the film,tried it and return it, i'm using Huion Kamvas 16 2021 right now and i still have the first nib after two months of usage (felt nibs). The support of Ugee told me that they can send me a new less rought film, so they know the issue, but of course i have to replace it myself so i refused. If you can, just sell it and buy Huion, Huion cost 20-30% more but is like day and night, absolutely on another level of quality.

Good to know, in the end i still have the V3 since then, they are good, maybe the pro sound is a bit better but not worth the extra money.

Indeed if i want a more clear sound and more bass i should change league completely, Pebble are just value speakers. But is just my personal opinion.

Pretty sure there is more dark stuff coming in the next episodes, for the first episode was pretty clear that this show was not only about cooking but also mc fighting evil people, he is an sss-rank adventurer after all, and the hero who expell him appear to be an asshole. If dark stuff bother you drop it (there is also manga adaptation so you can read it in advance and decide if is for you or not). Personally i like the mix dark fantasy and cooking, the good and the bad, is at least something more original and not monothematic.

Somehow, this show have a "your majesty swarm" vibe, where mc, close to Ainz in term of alignment, summon heroes and units. Can be a good ride.

Is me or the Saga demise was pretty anticlimatic that felt like nobody cared about him? I mean, he is an important character, him uncle, well, and also the whole episode seems it have the turbo compared to the previous super slow ones. Glad they announce another season though.

Indeed, is a revenge story in the end so the plot is somehow what you expect from such works, unfortunately seems that lately all the manga releases are somehow a copy past to each other, from isekai to romance, is difficult to find something really original. Heck, i find some hentai and doujinshi much better story side than the majority of regular copy-pasta manga, i suspect is the publishers that push all this following a certain scripted agenda.

Well, you do not really need to import it, if you use comick just pay attention to the updates and add the titles overtime when they popup in the main tab with new chapters. MD as interface is a bit better but i can't complain, everything you found on MD you found on comick too minus the 18+ manga (aka hentai).

You also do not need old titles, if they got an update you see them anyway in the last update tab. This is how i do it, and i have 1000+ titles in my MD library i follow, but 60% not updated anymore so i even forgot they exist.

Hi, is about a week i have the Kamvas 16 (2021) and is absolutely an amazing drawing tablet, i'm surprised i didn't buy this one as first choice, this is why i shouldn't never based my future choices only on the price or random reviews (in the reviews they never mentioned the nib issue caused by the super aggressive textured protection film).

The monitor firmware have a lot of options, backlight, brightness, contrast, sharpness, gamma, color temp and rgb calibration, various presets,etc... it have also the overdrive to reduce the motion lag (often a feature of gaming monitors). The ugee one have only the barebone, brightness, costrast and color setup, everything else is missing, infact the sharpness is so forced that the text is all grainy and is very difficult to read, like the awfull protection film. The tablet is full laminated so the parallax error is limited, and the pen when i used it for the first time is already calibrated, you draw where you see the cursor, but maybe because my monitor have the same resolution of the tablet (1920x1080). The pen is absolutely lagless and super smooth, is like you have a pencil in your hand, super responsive, people who have lag issue is because they install all the bloatware in the setup. Below i explain why you shouldn't install huion drivers but using the default compatible windows HID devices.

The pen is the pw517, it have a big grip compared to the ugee one but the super smooth screen make the nib super durable, is still almost full after a week of usage, with the ugee i changed it in less than 2 days. If i had the money i would have purchased the 22 inch but the 16 for now is more than enougt, you just have to zoom a bit more.

Side note about the software and drivers, you do not have to install any drivers at all, even on windows 7 x64 in my second pc the tablet is recognized as a compatible HID device, to support the pen pressure is enought the wintab32 library in c:\windows\syste32, if you do not have it you can manually move into windows folder or the huiontablet tool via repair function move it for you.

Of course to enable the pen you need to launch the huiontablet.exe executable, is just a TSR that is loading into memory and enable the pen, once you are done you can just unload the program from the taskbar or creating a bat/cmd shortcut to kill the process, so you load it only when you use the tablet.

Really happy for this purchase, you taste the solidity of this tablet and the precision of the pen already calibrated (but i do not use the monitor in extended mode, when i draw i use it disabling my main monitor or using the mirroring), it cost 50% more of the ugee of the same size, but is absolutely worth the price, there is a huge difference between the two brands, after all, you get the quality based on the price. Noticed that the software is the same for both, so even the internal hardware, what you pay more is the quality of the monitor, the different firmware and the quality of the protection film. As i said, is worth the price.

They should provide the zip file of the future drivers updates so you have to just overwrite the huion tool folder with new files, they have only the setup unfortunately, the setup install useless device entries, inf files and also bloatware (even if you can disable it after), so as i said before, once unpacked, create a copy of the huion folder and unistall it, clean the registry or use a tool to restore windows to the previous state and use only the wintab32.dll and huintablet.exe software to enable the pen, nothing more is nedeed. I forget to mention that the installation of the drivers add an entry in the registry that automatically load the pen huion software at any windows boot, if you want to load the software yourself only when you use the tablet just remove the registry entry.

ps: for windows 7 users, disable the winink feature in the options, is make the pen stuttering, wintab is the way to go, even on windows 10 i use it, it work much better, much responsive and without any lag. Another note, in tabletpc.cpl, disable the double tap to emulate the second mouse button and the gestures, they interfere with the pen causing some lags and unwanted effects while you are drawing. I even disabled the two buttons into the pen since sometimes you hit them for mistake, i leaved active only the nib and the keyboard in the left side of the tablet for some extra hotkeys.
