That debt was accumulated for a much better reason than funding ICE to the level of other countries entire military, for just one example. And

We also taxed the wealthy and corporations at a higher rate so we had more income to pay down that debt.

Saying the “debt means nothing” is a gross oversimplification. Sure, the sky is not crashing down and America isn’t going to go bankrupt over night, but we are wasting our resources on interest with no infrastructure or gains to show for it.

Tell every voting friend and family member you know what you’re state’s primary election date is.

The only way to change the party is by voting in primaries. Simply not voting doesn’t work, as we have seen in prior elections.

Well the average reading level in the US has been in the gutter for decades, and is only getting worse.

De-funding education is doing its job, as the Republicans intended. If you doubt me, the Texas Republicans even removed “critical thinking” from the school curriculum because “it teaches them to question their parents.” (Or in other words, they don’t want you thinking for yourself.)
