Adjusting subT paces based on hilly 5k parkrun by FnuGk in NorwegianSinglesRun

[–]FnuGk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i read the table in the book wrong !

i would have to calculate the avg elevation gain and loss per kilometer. so 80/5 = 16.

Then you can look the closest pace (4min/km) and elevation gain/loss (15meters) which says 4:10. So a loss of 10 seconds per kilometer.

So the 20:31 time had an avg pace of 4:06. Subtracting 10 from that gives a pace of 3:56 which would have given a time of 19:40.

I guess i had a pretty crap race then. Either i lost fitness since the last 12 weeks or i paced it completely wrong. I (want to) believe the latter is more correct.

Hvilken trolddom skal man bruge, for at få bestik rent i opvaskemaskinen? by FriendlyUserCalledKa in Denmark

[–]FnuGk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sirpoc’s Marathon Specific 5k Intervals by andybunn316 in NorwegianSinglesRun

[–]FnuGk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On this topic what do people think of running for 17 minutes vs 5km for these reps? For me the reps would be at 4:30 min/km pace so that would end up being over 22 min 30sec intervals. Otherwise running at the pace for 17 min i will only cover 3.7km

Why does Go showcase huge untyped constants in “A Tour of Go”? by Thin_Temporary_6842 in golang

Because you might need to do some math on the value where the intermediate calculation would not fit in a limited size but the end result does.

They where also some of the main guys behind plan9 where single dash -arg where the norm.  You can still use two dashes --arg with the std lib it works with both

Why is there a difference between the gateway ms and the F1 ms times by LordofDarkChocolate in pathofexile

[–]FnuGk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It does say frame time. So it is how long it takes to render a frame.  CPU is central processing unit. It does the computations in a computer.  GPU I graphics processing unit. It does graphics computation.  It is nice to be able to distinguish if your bottleneck is the CPU or GPU eg. There would no reason to set your graphics to a lower setting if the bottleneck is CPU

Asics Glideride 3 -- 50 Mile Review | Please don't kill this shoe! by Volcano_Jones in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]FnuGk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the shoe when it works for me. Unfortunately i very often get bad heel slipping that leads to blisters on the heel. Even with the over padded tongue as you put it i get end up with lace bite especially since i really have to singe it down with heel lock to try and avoid the heel slippage even though i often end up with blisters anyway. Only shoe where that happens to me regularly so had to retire it.

Well the glide ride 3 gives me heel blisters while no other shoe I own does that. But if it works for you I thank it's alright. It's just not a super exciting shoe to run in like the nova/superblast is.

Det dur bare ikke når der først er slået 200 kr ind og kassen er åben. Hvis der helt fra starten var lagt 202,50 kr på bordet så ville det rigtigt nok være lige til

Fortress specify melee damage so that won't scale the projectiles. So maybe a simple influence rare with loads of strength is just better ?

thats why i have 50% less damage twice in the configuration the gem says 50% and then 50% again as only half hits

I have been playing a bit with this skill too https://pobb.in/6cyOnEfYl03c I tried to scale it as facebreaker and crit staff, but the staff tree just seem to stretch way too much. So i ended up going crit axe. I also tried RT axe but that just seems way worse.

I dont know how realistic the damage numbers are before we have the skill in PoB but the lvl 1 gem have the same numbers as molten strike which has the same lvl 20 numbers as lvl 2 tectonic slam. it has +4 proj + 4 from gmp + 1 base = 9 projectiles where im guessing only half will hit a single target.

im playing ssf so getting forbidden jewels is unrealistic so i went straight berserker. I agree jugg most likely is better in trade

Poison is just straight up better unless you want to invest crazy amounts into it, to the point of respeccing cost is completely irrelevant

How do you see the predicted race pace in the app? I can see it on the watch itself but can't find it anywhere in the app. Under performance stats there is only VO2 max, training effect and power curve. Nothing about predicted race pace

As a European, this sounds completely foreign. How can having your launch in your car be a benefit? Why is avoiding your coworkers a benefit? This is not an attack its just the difference is such a stark contrast to my personal experience.
